I enjoy the people who work there a lot, but I also love the facilities!!
We really appreciate the Childwatch program and the wonderful staff who care for the children. It is a fantastic service that adds a lot of value to our experience.
However, I believe the gym could be cleaned more thoroughly. I rarely see staff actively cleaning the equipment. Machines like the treadmills and stair steppers often have visible sweat on them. More regular and visible cleaning would help create a cleaner and more hygienic environment for all members.
Most importantly, with the growing number of people in the facility, including children, daycare, and now camp participants, I strongly believe it would be wise to have a security officer present at all times. This would help ensure the safety and well-being of everyone using the facility.

Complete gym
After joining 2 gyms that went out of business, I’ve been a Y member since 1982–and very happy. For one thing? The Y is still solvent, always immaculate —and ever expanding. The membership is very affordable —and all encompassing, enabling me to lift weights and (when I was younger) run and (since I broke my ankle)o row. Our kiids developed the fitness habit as they were growing up and now use gyms ist UCF and UGA. My now-88-yer-old husband gets the gentle stretching and exercise and socialization he appreciates in the Enhance Fitness class—and the weight training he needs in the gym.
Only complaint I have is it is very warm in E Gym area- sun comes through directly- maybe tint windows darker in that area.
I have been a member since 2011.
The people are nice and the facility is clean. The equipment is always updated.
I love the sense of community and all of the activities and events they offer for families.
Inclusive and affordable
Ymca is family to me. They are our safe place, when there is no place to go. People at the Y treat me and my family with respect, live and kindness. They never judge us
