The Y is a great center for exercise and training for self-preservation or Athletes whom need to accomplish other specific areas of the body. It is also a very friendly family environment and directed to today's youth in the sports world. The Y is an amazing place, with great facilities, caring staff, and well organized and run.
The facility upkeep has improved tremendously new crew. Staff customer services seem to be more pleasant interacting with customers.
I love the enthusiasm of the staff and especially the lap swimming pool. The Boynton Beach Y is a very special facility.

Everyone’s real friendly and it feels like a community
Friendly staff and members. Nice facilities generally but some issues. I don’t mean to slam the Y but you asked for feedback so here it is. Womens bathroom stall dividers look dirty-dingy. They are probably clean but just don’t look that way. Floor tile in there looks kinda dirty, too.
The otherwise nice gym floor has gum stuck to it in multiple places. This is not a summer camp issue. The gum has been there for weeks.
The pool area is loud during activities. Very difficult to hear instructors, life guards, coaches. Seems like a safety issue if the guards can’t be heard clearly. I know the Y likes to feature indoor pools but maybe it needs to rethink that. Removing the outside glass doors/walls and replacing them with insect screening —or nothing —would reduce the amount of reflective surfaces in there and might improve both acoustics and air quality. Just a thought.

They seem to do a lot of great things for kids during the summer.

The people….the staff and the members
Staff is inviting and engaging. Workout gym and equipment good. Stretch program is great! So far I only use the gym. I was one of the first families that join the YMCA when the first opened years ago. I am pleased with the early hours. I can get my daily workout done with ease. 🥰
We love almost everything about the Y! Our daughter loved preschool, thru camp, and then volleyball. We love the fitness center and the availability of the pools. The staff makes it all come together. Love this place!

Clean, well run, great variety of classes and other options. The weight/machine room is great. The instructors I have are excellent.
