I love the wide variety of activities for exercising, so it's easy to change up your routine as needed.
The facility is very nice, clean and amazing! The instructors make you feel very welcomed. There are all kinds of programs and activities for everyone...even the kiddos!

Overall Tany Y is great!
However, I have Two suggestions.
1- It would be great if the people in charge of this wonderful Y "could repair the Hot water tank" in the locker showers, so it would not break , everyone was complaining on the weekend of April 23d and 24th when the locker room shower was freezing cold.
2- It would be nice if they can put a sign either on the changing rooms or on the desk where people come in to sign in ... perhaps saying
A_ ( there are two nice bathrooms available across these changing rooms"..
B- also there are men and women's nice locker rooms right behind these changing areas
C- Add a note saying, these changing areas are available for families and special need .
Many people are not aware of these three points.

I've enjoyed going to the classes at the Tandy Family YMCA. The classes are fun and a great workout. The atmosphere is friendly and there are all types of people at the gym, which makes me feel comfortable. Things at this location are clean and well taken care of.
The facility is excellent. And the yoga classes are great. Would love to have a strength training program for older adults.

Swim workouts in Y pool!
We love being on Kevin's soccer team, the killer bees. He is patient, kind, fun and a wonderful coach.
My son and I love swimming at the pool! I want to check out the Aqua Jog class. My son is registered for all weeks of camp this summer.
I use the eGym and have a personal trainer. All of my trainers have been totally professional, competent and have helped me achieve my goals. It's a great atmosphere wherever you go at the Y. I could find a lot of excuses to avoid working out, but Tandy draws me to be with people who are upbeat and achieving their goals.
Walking tracks. Bicycle machines.
very family friendly place, clean, nice staff. lots of choices when it comes to things to do.
Variety of classes
The facility is very clean and in good repair. There is plenty of equipment to use, so you are not waiting to use it. The classes have great variety and meet people where they are in meeting their health goals. I appreciate that the Y is still a Christian ministry to the community.
I like the aquatics
I like having access to the pool to do my laps and being able to reserve time as well.
Most of the lifeguards are friendly and informative as well.
I also appreciate the variety of programs, not to mention the upstairs weights and machine training equipment as well.
The only thing I use are the weight machines. I’ve noticed a number of the have cracked seats. Also when one breaks it seems to take a long time to get them fixed.
My son loves going to the play and learn Center. We go 3 to 4 times a week, and even if I’m through with my work out, I’ll let him stay the full two hours. He loves the teachers and he always has fun.
I use the e gym circuit and water aerobics if the Y is going to set up all members on e gym they need more then 1set of equipment water aerobics ok but the cleaning people are not doing a very good job last week there was a giant hairball on the floor in the locker room and when I get home there is hair all over the bottom of my water shoes I was going to mention the hair ball on my way out there was no one at the front desk
Loved the 3:30 aqua aerobics class. The pool staff is so welcoming and made sure I knew where to go. Also loved that is was Water Slide Wednesday!
I am thankful to be able to swim at the Y.
