The staff is really friendly. The Defend classes are a great activity and a good calorie burner. I do 3-4 defend classes a week and each instructor is good and easy to fallow. The people who attend are fun to be around. The YMCA is a fun place to go.

The facility is so clean and nice.
I have only utilized the pool for swimming laps, and have attended a water aerobics class. I love the pool! It's clean, and the area around it is nicely kept. If you ever get to have a bigger pool or an indoor one, more lanes dedicated for lap swimming would be AWESOME! I guess alternatively, longer time during the day dedicated to lap swimming would also work.
I wish there were other classes at 8:00 am. Sometimes the senior fit class is too easy but coming at 9:30 for the harder classes do not fit in my schedule.
I wish there was another stretching class on Thursday morning. I know finding a yoga instructor is hard but why not just offer a stretching class?

My son has benefited very much from the swimming lessons offered at the Dickenson Family YMCA since opening.
The swimming instructors are professional, patient, and instruct very well.

Classes are good workouts. Lots of fun. Friendly people, other members and instructors.
That it is all on one floor. The variety of machines and free weights. The outside pool is wonderful for the summer months. The staff is friendly and helpful.
