My son has had a complete transformation in 6th grade math this year since we started him at Mathnasium! I was not expecting such a new found confidence and excitement he has shown for math. My son came to Mathnasium with a 3rd grade level knowledge of math (he is currently in 6th grade) absolutely no confidence and inner shame for not being able to keep up with his classmates at school. It became too much for my husband and I to witness his poor attitude, combative and irritated arguments his siblings and outright obstinance at home. My husband and I could not help him with math at home because he would not listen to us or cooperate. I finally decided to look for tutoring but was on edge because I felt he would defy his tutors as well. I had to drag him to his first session at Mathnasium and he kicked and screamed. After 2 weeks he started to express that he enjoyed going to Mathnasium and we also noticed much better behavior at home and less obstinance. I recently received an email from my sons math teacher and she wanted to let us know that our son has completely transformed in math class, raises his hand and is the first to participate. I will never underestimate the power of support in any school subject and cannot thank the tutors/mentors at Mathnasium enough for helping my son find his inner peace with math and help him realize that he is in fact a smart boy who can learn anything! He is finally thriving at school and this is THE most wonderful gift a parent can be given.

I appreciate how friendly everyone is. My daughter has liked all her instructors. Nicole was quick to respond when I let her know that my daughter's plan wasn't challenging enough (her initial assessment was after two months of no school and she was super tired!) Nicole had her take the assessment again and got her on a new learning plan at her very next visit!

We have had a very positive experience with Mathnasium. From meeting with the center director to the instructors. They are great! When we got the feedback from our daughter's teacher that she was missing some fundamentals in multiplication and division, Mathnasium has jumped in to help get her caught up and feeling confident. Her attitude towards math has becoming increasingly positive.

Our son has been attending 1 session/week for 7th grade math and in his own words "They are showing me strategies that never occurred to me and it is making it much easier to solve the problems".

This is a good training for our children.
They learn to love math and it will be great foundation for their academic journey.

I'm just sometimes feel uneasy and wonder if the place is well guarded and secured for the children. I hope they update too the children with emergency drill scenarios (God forbid, nothing happens)

My boys are both strong math students (advanced and accelerated at their school) and we wanted to keep their skills fresh for the upcoming school year, so we chose Mathnasium. Was a great decision as they both excelled during the 19/20 school year. We repeated the decision for this summer and and it has been a great way to enhance their skills.

We are thrilled with our experience thus far with Mathnasium! Our son is always eager to go, asking daily, even on weekends. The rewards system they use really drives our son to want to succeed. We also appreciate the progress reports we get so we can see the exact skill they are working on or have mastered. We wish we would have started coming here much earlier!
