Mathnasium has been helping my daughter bridge the gap in learning left at her local school. Matt and all the instructors are very hands on and encourage my daughter to email ahead of her session any concepts she would like to work on, they prepare her course work and it’s also a great way for students to prepare to study and think outside the routine learning taught at schools.

My 8th grade son has been going to Mathnasium for two years. It has been instrumental in his success in middle school math. The environment is very supportive and welcoming. The tutors are professional and relatable. The tutors work with him on any skill gaps he has in general, help him prepare for tests as needed, and can facilitate his nightly homework assignments. Using Mathnasium has eliminated the nightly homework struggles that we were having at home - no more long nights at the kitchen island struggling with computer-based math assignments (IXLs!!!).

I cannot say enough great things about the management and team at Mathnasium Athens. I believe success starts at the top, and I see Matt is a kind and responsive leader for the center. My daughter appreciates the sacrifice we make to get her this help. She enjoys the support of the tutors, knows many of the by name and knows which teachers she learns best with. She is invested in her growth and has ownership of her grades now. Mathnasium has increased her confidence in math and overall. This is our second Mathnasium center for support, and yet our experience has been the same at both. I wholeheartedly recommend the Athens team and Mathnasium for your kids support!

My young girl has struggled in math for a long time. She looks so forward to coming to Mathnasium each visit because she is treated so well. She is learning and feels like she is getting the help she needs to succeed. I feel great about this.

My daughter was struggling at the end of second grade in math. We decided to enroll her in Mathnasium. Surprisingly, we saw a huge difference in her overall attitude about math. She was excited about participating weekly and her grades began to improve. Since then, she was recommended to advance math in fifth grade and is currently maintaining her grades in advance sixth grade math. Regrettably, we removed her from Mathnasium during the spring and summer months of last year to give her a break. At the beginning of her advanced sixth grade math, we noticed a lack of motivation and a decline in her math grades. We immediately decided to re-enroll her in Mathnasium. Her motivation and grades have improved. I highly recommend Mathnasium to students who may be struggling in math.
