Gold Fit is always good. Also the free weight area. You could use an ab machine downstairs. Also, I have heard several that are unhappy about the classes you have to pay for. We don't do those because of the extra cost.
Senior fit class with Melissa is great. We also like the new weight machines you have now.

I like very much the times that the lap lanes are open at the pool. I also appreciate that the locker rooms and shower areas aren't as piggy as they have been these past few months. I love the new sauna, hopefully people will refrain from pouring water over the heater, so it won't break. I haven't yet been able to open up that new YMCA app on my phone; when I asked the young lady behind the desk (at the Tandy YMCA) she pretty much blew me off, saying I should be able to do it on my own. I don't know her name, but she was young, early twenties, dark hair with what looked like a dozen earrings on her lips.

My husband and I use the gym for waterwalking only. I am limited in the activities that I can do regretfully.

I’m a new member, but I love how friendly, welcoming and helpful the staff all are. Everyone on staff that I’ve interacted with has spoken to me with enthusiasm. I was given a tour and shown around. The next time I came in I was recognized and greeted warmly. I took an indoor cycle class and the instructor learned my name and introduced me to a different instructor whose class I plan to take later this week. Everything feels very personal considering how large a facility it is. Also I am impressed by the app. I like being able to see the class schedule and sign up from my phone. I’ve already watched both live stream videos and videos from the collection. I’m looking forward to trying the recipes from the cooking tutorials. I’m grateful there are video resources for people with Parkinson’s and workout videos with accommodations for people with injuries or movement limitations. I’m so pleased with the Tandy location and staff and the high caliber of what I have access to with my membership.
