I had heard about Mathnasium from friends and had referred others but had not participated myself. My son has now been attending this year and it has been a wonderful experience for him.

Mathnasium has been a game changer for our son this year. After unusually low MAP testing scores in the fall, we started 2-3 Mathnasium sessions a week. After 4 short months his scores shot up 30 points. While we loved the independent verification of what we knew, that his abilities had increased significantly, the best part was seeing his confidence soar.

They have been very helpful with getting my son back on track in math. He was not turning in assignments because he fell behind and was stuck. He is more confident now. The online model has been great for us. I would not have had time to drive him to tutoring but he is learning a lot in this environment.

Our son loved math but we felt he was not doing as well as he could in school. Through Mathnasium he grew his confidence which fostered his love of math even more. He is doing great in school and we are very proud of how he has taken that confidence and applied it to his other subjects. My daughter does not feel comfortable asking for help in class. But the one on one instruction at Mathnasium gives her the confidence to admit she doesn't understand so she can work through the problems. Math still isn't her favorite subject but she enjoys her sessions. And there's no way she'd be where she's at right now with school alone.
