Working with the staff at Comforcare is like working with loving members of my family. There is not a doubt in my mind that they have my cognitively impaired mother's best interests at heart. The Comforcare scheduler is always available to reschedule our caregiver when changes in our calendars come up - vacation, MD appointments, etc. I know my mom is in excellent hands and is well cared for all the time.
My mom was matched with the perfect caregiver, Jenny....and while my mom never remembers her name, she does remember how she makes her feel and is delighted every time she shows up on her doorstep. Jenny helps my mom do the things she loves best, going shopping, eating healthy, and making dinner. Because of Jenny's consistent presence, my mom has settled into a nice regular routine, and the irregular sleep patterns that she had been suffering have completely stopped.
The owner Debbie personally stopped by during this past Christmas season to deliver a gift of a cozy Comforcare throw blanket and Christmas card to my mom. My mom and I were delighted at this simple, yet profound gesture.
I cannot recommend Comforcare of Northern Fairfax enough to anyone who has a loved one that needs extra help. They are great care partners for sure!

Aids are proactive and self initiating. They are usually on time and try to be helpful during their short window of allotted time. The coordinator communicates fairly consistently for any changes. Phone calls are nearly always answered by a real person.
Provides good companionship, health care (including showers), and responsibility.
I feel really cared for - from top management Jon Stephens to the caregivers assigned to me. Would recommend them highly for anyone looking for home care !

The experience going through having to have someone come in to help a love one is stressful. The ComForCare staff from the beginning have listened to our needs and the flexibility in scheduling along with the type of care that we received from all the staff from orientation to the way the caretakers have made it easier for us to return to our normal life again. I would give them a call if you have a need for a caregiver or if you have any questions just call everybody that I have spoken to have been friendly and helpful.
