There is great continuity between Mathnasium and the school. Covid was hard on so many children, and many, my daughter included got so far behind. Mathnasium has helped to get her back on track. We are very happy with Mathnasium. My son started to struggle with Math during COVID and it was beginning to effect his confidence. He didn’t like Math anymore and found it so difficult. Mathnasium was one of the best things we could have done for him. He is now making great grades again in Math at school and he does not worry about Math homework anymore. It just gets done. I will say, you need to give it time and allow at least a year (it’s not in my opinion a few months fix) because they have to go back to where your child’s level is at. My son had to go back two grade levels but I can tell you it was worth the drive to get there (we come from
Saint Hedwig) and the money. My son enjoys the atmosphere and of course the reward system is a real incentive for the kids. . The instructors are great, they are so patient and they seem to have the ability to make Math fun. The owner is very accommodating and hands on. I would highly recommend.
