Mathnasium has been a great experience. My son was already doing okay in math, but he chose to begin tutoring with Mathnasium in lieu of a sport or other organized activity. He usually tutors after school and is excelling. He gets excited about developing a command of mathematical concepts that he struggled with before. He wants to work in a STEM field, and I'm confident that Mathnasium is helping him to be able to do that.
Another benefit of improving mathematical proficiency, is that it reduces the struggle in math classes, so that a student can focus more on their education in other areas as well.

My daughter continues to grow in her confidence with math. All the instructors love her and she loves them! Her teacher can tell a difference in her understanding, and we are planning for her to go into middle school with a solid foundation. So thankful!

It is unbelievable how much my son has improved in math! At first he was afraid of math, but now he loves it! Not only did his math grade improve, but all grades went up especially science and English. English is not his first language, so we believe the confidence he gained in math, helped in many areas. We want to thank the very nice staff and instructors at Mathnasium for always being so kind to our son!

Last year my daughter had a genuine dislike of math. I was initially hesitant to enroll her in Mathnasium because I do not have expendable income and cannot afford to spend money on something that might not work. After much discussion, my wife and I made the investment and enrolled her. This investment has been the best decision we have made regarding her academic success.

My daughter does well in school by the current standards. She made a lot of "2's" on assignments and we assumed that was passing because she does well in all of her other subjects. There were times that she would complain about not understanding math but she would come home with good grades so we did not worry. After taking the initial assessment it revealed exactly what I thought it would...MANY gaps in her learning that were causing her to be frustrated with math. The list of deficiencies was long and I did not believe that she could possibly learn ALL of them over a summer.

My daughter LOVES going to work with the teachers. She has come home talking about what they did and is proud enough that she shows us. She mastered all of the skills she was lacking and has continued to go to Mathnasium now that the new school year has started. Those "2's" are now "3's" and we do not have those long nights at the kitchen table working on schoolwork.

I would highly recommend this program to anybody who has a child that might be struggling in math. It is better to discover and fill in the learning gaps when they are young than it is to wait until they struggle in high school.
