Hello to all looking for a math tutor for their children,

My son has been at Mathnasium for almost two years. When he started he was in grade 5 and his math level was way below “standard”.
At Mathnasium, he got a lot of help and even does math quite fast in his head. Almost right away he stopped using his fingers to count.
My son has improved and is almost caught up to grade 6 level.
It is great how Mathnasium sends information of how your child is doing, what he has done and what he needs to do.
He really enjoys the in-person tutoring.
It is our plan that my son continue until at least grade 9, he is now going to grade 7.
It goes without saying that the professionalism and knowledge of the tutors is exceptional.
As well, response to any question is very prompt.
I would recommend Mathnasium for a child in need of some math review or starting from the beginning.

my daughter's math has improved substantially after working with mathnasium. she now states that math is her best subject. Her confidence with math has grown too. We did multiplication drills at dinner the other night, at her request!

I think the hour long sessions are helpful for our daughter and the work that is completed during the Mathnasium sessions are a good complement and reinforcement of what she is working on in school.

My son was failing in public school. They gave him an IEP, which I knew he didn't need, but was on for year. It was a copout way to deal with a capable kid who lacked some fundamentals because the school system failed him. Long story short, he went to Mathnasium, got fundamentals, started to believe in himself and now is getting A+ in math, teaching the other kids at school, and doing so much better with other subjects too!

I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with Mathnasium. They have single-handedly gotten my daughter through Math in public school and are now helping her in high school. I highly recommend them!

When our daughter started at Mathnasium withCarlos and Thomas she was in Grade 6 but her math was at a grade 3. She had slipped through the cracks at school and nobody had noticed until Gr6 when her teacher called us in. Our experience with Mathnasium has been nothing short of amazing. Our kids have grown in their math skills and confidence, and Thomas and Carlos have been exceptional at ensuring my 15 year old is getting the help he needs to get through grade 10 math during online learning through this pandemic. Alice has also been so helpful with quick replies and ensuring we get appointments even when I'm a little forgetful with the online scheduler. We are so grateful to have the support of everyone at Mathnasium to help us get through this unprecedented and challenging school year!
