We had a special property of land in the Sandia Park area that we decided not to build on. We were referred Jonathan Hamilton by a family friend, and he met with us right away. A week later, we had the land on the market, and it sold two days later. That land was very sentimental to us and Jonathan took great care in the process of knowing that. We listened to what Jonathan recommended and moved forward each step of the way. It was such a smooth process, and we are happy for the new owners and their future plans with the land.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the services Jill Stafford provided to us when we marketed and sold our house.
She was recommended by neighbors who strongly recommended her, and we contacted her several months before we intended to place the house on the market. She met at our house and, along with her "handyman", she toured the house and made constructive recommendations about what actions we could take to improve its marketability. She also recommended that some actions we were considering would not be necessary to improve our ability to sell. She spoke to us several times during the next few months as we undertook repairs and upgrades that we agreed would be helpful. Jill cheerfully discussed various issues we were contemplating during the next few months. Based on our interactions, we were leaning toward signing a sales contract with her, but in the meantime she did not put any pressure on us to make any commitments. During this time she also provided us timely market analyses.
When the timing was right we met with Jill to conclude a contact. At that time she updated her market analysis and reviewed with us the details of today's real estate contracting environment. Many of the requirements prompted by several court cases that were decided since we last sold a house in the 1990s were new to us--Jill took the time required to make sure we understood the new legal requirements.
After we contracted with Jill, she remained in close contact with us as we concluded some house upgrades and an estate sale to prepare to show the house. When our agreed-upon listing date came, Jill began an aggressive campaign that included several open-houses, on-line listings, and virtual staging of the house. Before we received a offer she kept us informed about open-house comments and housing market developments in the area that could affect our house sale. She also suggested some additional marketing actions to help make our house stand out.
When we received an offer, Jill continued to advise us as we went through the negotiation process with the prospective buyers. She suggested several actions that we could take to improve our negotiating position while always making sure that we understood these were our decisions to make. We appreciated her counsel during negotiations, and our final offer was accepted during negotiations.
At that point additional negotiations took place as the disclosure process continued--this was an even more stressful time for us. Jill continued to keep us informed about all the events taking place, and she made great suggestions that helped us finally close the deal. When my wife and I agreed at one point that we would decline any further modifications to our offer--we would place the house back on the market rather than continue giving concessions--she did not place any pressure on us to "save the deal". We felt comfortable with our position and Jill supported us.
When closing time came about, we were pleased with the final outcome, and we remain pleased with events.
