Putting my son in Mathnasium- Ravenswood was the best decision we made a few years ago. My son was struggling with his math assignments and tests and unfortunately as his parent, I couldn't provide additional support in this school subject. At first, it was a struggle to get him to be open to the idea of tutoring, but after a few months, I saw his confidence grow and his grades change. He even began to proactively tell his tutors the homework and assignments he had trouble with during the school week. The daily notes on his tutoring sessions along with the progress reports helped to understand where he was in his learning. I'm forever grateful for the support and tailored guidance/curriculum that Mathnasium- Ravenswood provided for us these past few years.
This class has been great! My kid has become much quicker with answers and actually enjoy doing math now. We’ve seen a big boost in confidence and interest—really happy with the progress!

Mathnasium St. Charles/Geneva has been tremendously helpful to my son. He was struggling with his math homework. He took the IReady test and comparing from the last test, he jumped up +27 percent which is extremely good. Very proud and happy with his improvements. The staff is amazing! As a parent that is very knowledgeable in mathematics it was very hard for me to admit that I didn't understand how children are being taught math in today's world. My daughters’ grades were slipping from having A’s while in 3rd and 4th and even 5th grade. In 6th grade she has been struggling, and I have been struggling to understand how to explain some of her homework to the point where I can get her to understand. I have reached out to the Mathnasium staff for help after being recommended from her friends mom. They have provided us with a tremendous amount of assistance. My daughter was struggling very hard and almost had a D in mathematics. She has now been going to Mathnasium two days a week for the past two or three months. She has just got her report card back and I am proud to say she is now at A level. Her confidence when she does her math homework and when I speak to her about math problems it's night and day. I tested her on mathematics, especially at the grocery store. Of course, she's not 100% on everything but she is willing to learn. I recommend Mathnasium if your child is struggling. Start off with two days a week and then you can adjust from there.
It is truly a place that will set your child on the path to success. The teachers are loving and so patient. The branch leadership is fantastic. They take a keen interest and support your child.

We signed up our daughter to help bolster her math skills before a school placement exam. We’re thrilled with the progress she’s making in just a couple of sessions a week. Regardless of how she does, the encouraging atmosphere and positive feedback has made her love math again.
