The instructors are very friendly and effective. The flexibility with scheduling is a huge benefit because my schedule varies from day to day. But most of all, my daughter was able to develop a bond with the instructors and relax and learn math concepts in a stress free environment
We started using Mathnasium tutoring because my high schooler was struggling to understand a masked teacher in the classroom. He began to fall behind in March but wasn't agreeing to find a tutor, either. With some bribing, we went to the first Mathnasium session. He came out with a look of relief on his face and continued seeing the tutor when help was needed for the rest of the semester. He finished the year with a B in math, confident to move into the next year. Had we not gone to Mathnasium, there would have been so much more struggle and depression to just finish the class and pass. With Mathnasium, a good grade was achieved without much stress. More importantly, my student now has a confident resource for when math help is needed. This gives us as parents great relief, too. A great place to plug into if/when your student begins to have trouble in math. Don't wait until your student gives up! They make math do-able and positive!

My daughter seems to enjoy the tutoring system in this place. She was struggling with learning at the pace and the system used at her school. I have noticed less frustration on her and confidence.
My son has gained a lot of confidence through the program at Mathnasium. The owner and the staff at our Simi Valley location are patient and understanding. I’m grateful for the extra incentives they offer the students to keep them motivated. The positive reinforcement works well for my child.
Mathnasium is excellent; it's the best math enrichment program around. And it's is helping my children learn math skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking. Bora is wonderful. She is extremely patient and kind. Highly recommend!

Boralda has a gentle way of working with students. I had to drag my teen to Mathnasium as a last resort of a failing math grade at school. Surprisingly, my teen felt hopeful that school math would be improving just after the first session at Mathnasium. He always has an encouraging and positive experience at each Mathnasium session. His confidence in the classroom is going up and he's more likely to ask his school instructor questions. He is also willing to return to Mathnasium anytime he has math questions. He now maintains a B+ average in math and a great attitude about tackling future math courses.
Mathnasium continues to give my son the tools to be confident in Math. It’s still not his favorite subject but I know Mathnasium has helped where we as parents could not. We are grateful for Bora & her staff.

Great experience with this math tutoring facility, both in person and via zoom. My son is entering high school next year equipped with an honors in math, as well as being accepted into the prestigious John Hopkins CTY program in math, thanks to the great efforts of the mathnasium tutors who continually challenge him and tailor their lessons to fit his individual needs. No way could he get that kind of attention and focus based on his regular math lessons in school. That's what makes Mathnasium so special!

I prefer the online option. It's effective as well.

A welcoming environment for my teen who was reluctant to see a math tutor. Boralda answers my calls or responds quickly to text messages to schedule my teen for a tutoring session. Very happy with the confidence my teen is building from the sessions, and grades are improving steadily.

My twins had C's in math at the beginning of the year. They have been going to Mathnasium for 4 months and are ACTUALLY learning math...rather than regurgitating it! They both have A's now!
