Mathnasium is great! I have three kids, who have needed extra help, have needed more of a challenge than their school provided, or needed to prepare for outside testing. Mathnasium has something for everyone. The staff is very helpful, and the covid protocols make me feel safe about bringing my kids to the center.

I am very impressed w/ how Mathnasium in Guilford pivoted so quickly to remote tutoring. My son actually seems to prefer this platform, at least for now. I think it is going really well. The only element missing is that clear linkage w/ his math homework issues and getting help directly with the typical math packets. However I have confidence he continues to progress along the spectrum of typical match units he needs to learn as a 7th grader. I think math, in particular, is probably one of the harder subjects to teach remotely during the pandemic. My son loves all the instructors- they do a great job building relationships and making my son feel like he is talking to someone familiar. If he sees the teachers out and about in town he lights up - "there's so and so from Mathnasium!" It has been a really good investment since we joined, even before the pandemic but especially now.
The Mathnasium learn at home program is practically as good as Mathnasium itself. You don’t have to drive to Mathnasium-learn-at home. The only bad thing about it is that there are no treats!:) That is the opinion of my ten year old son Aleks. I’m 100 percent agree with him:).

We prefer the learning at the store location. Right now - we missed 2 weeks of learning and it all switched to a TUESDAY / Thursday instead of a Dailey tutoring time. My child’s

Great staff, Lawrence and Brad are awesome. My son always enjoys his time there and every time says it has helped his learning and understanding of what he is working on in school. It is a supportive environment and in a great location for us.

I like that you don't have to schedule a time. The teachers are all fantastic and build rapport in a great way. Nice atmosphere, not competitive.
I asked my son what he thinks about Mathnasium because he goes there already second year and he says ,,Mathnasium is a good place for work, and it is fun when it is game time “. )
my daughter loves it especially the rewards received once she has achieved a certain goal. The only thing I would recommend is that I feel they may be spending too much time a certain units that she has already mastered. I would rather them move forward and work on things that she struggles with.
A positive experience! My 14 year olds never minded going and it was their summer vacation!!! Overall, they both enjoyed their math experience and I would definitely recommend Mathnasium to anyone looking for review or support.

My daughter has improved her math grades since she began Mathnasium. Her confidence in her ability to learn math has increased significantly. She has not asked for help with her homework since she began Mathnasium and does not complain about Math being such a “difficult” class anymore either. She is spending time this summer in the program to prepare for high school Algebra.
We use Mathnasium for both tutoring and enrichment for the needs of each of my children. They’re all learning so much and gaining confidence all of the time. They look forward to going to each session, which is a huge win!
