Teachers are great and work well with the children. They modify their approach based on the student.

My daughter’s confidence has gone from 5% to 90% in the last year. She was 2 years behind in math and is now only a year behind and is working slowly towards reaching her current grade level. Mathnasium provided her with the building blocks she was missing from the early grades. She also had a learning disability specifically with numbers and they have taken the time and patience to work with her understanding her challenges.

The progress we’ve seen with Nate has been remarkable. He really enjoys coming to Mathnasium and finds the time flies by when he’s here. He’s gained more confidence at school and we’re seeing a real change reflected in his marks.

The staff is great and they are very respectful to everyone.

I can’t speak highly enough about the program and instructors at Mathnasium in Downsview. They are all truly dedicated to building my daughters skills and confidence and giving her a sense of empowerment when it comes to math. She loves to go and enjoys the challenges and incentives they provide. I’m doubly pleased that they entertain my daughters specific interests and help with any problem areas of math that may arise at school outside of their program.

I do wish that they had longer hours though, particularly on weekends when we sometimes find it hard to make it within their four hour window.

When we called to inquire, everyone was super nice and ready to help. My daughter has more confidence now and she wants to keep going all the time! Thanks Mathnasium!

The Mathnasium team has been excellent. My daughter is really enjoying the sessions and is showing a lot of interest in math. I also appreciate the frequent check-ins and progress reports.

My daughter was struggling with math and hated it before she started at Mathnasium. Now she’s excited to learn and loves going to Mathnasium because they make it fun and interesting! I can’t say enough about Sara, John and the staff at Mathnasium Downsview. They are so wonderful and make the experience that much better!

Mathnasium is a friendly and fun environment for my child to learn the concept of numbers (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc). Using various techniques like the rewards system along with verbal, writing and tactile (board games, card games) to make learning fun. The environment is clean and bright with plenty of instructors for students who is needs help understand the concept. With the open concept of the facility I can either wait in the waiting area or I can return in an hour. While waiting in the waiting area I notice no one student is left to learn on their own, each instructor are proactive in assisting each student who comes in into the facility. While the price of admission comes higher in comparison to Kumon the experience is very different and is well worth a try, my daughter enjoys coming in and always excited to learn.

I recommend Mathnasium for the fun experience, active instructors and open concept learning. Sara Shen and her stuff are doing an excellent job.

My daughter really enjoyed going to the math classes.

My daughter enjoys coming here and working with the friendly staff. Her confidence has really improved since coming here so much that we often play math games while driving in the car lol.

My experience had been incredible. Duncan is so meticulous and organized with feedback and checking up on us. Sara runs a very efficient and productive centre. We are very pleased with the work, the people and the progress our kids have made! Keep up the great work!

So far we are really pleased with Mathnasium. My daughter seems quite enthusiastic to do the work they present and she appreciates the one on one help as needed. She enjoys the fun incentives and social camaraderie. I appreciate that they have selected material geared towards filling in the gaps of my daughters skills.

Staff at Downsview mathnasium are very friendly, kid-oriented and approachable. Sara follows up with parents regarding the program and asks how we would like to add or adjust the program. What areas we would like our child to develop more and if he is not yet ready, they get him to do more work to solidify his understanding.

Olivia is Excited about Math and begs to come to Mathnasium because you make it fun for her to learn!
