Very friendly and effective swim lessons
Devin has made progress with First name removed in the water. She is now not afraid to put her face into the water. With continued lessons she will progress accordingly.
My 6-year-old son was very nervous about entering the pool without his swim vest. Taylor was incredibly patient and helped make him feel safe right from the start. She quickly built a trusting relationship with him during the first lesson. Over the six weeks of classes, she tailored her lessons to match his comfort level while gently pushing him to progress. By the end of the six weeks, he was floating on his own and doing the elementary backstroke. He's now excited to practice at home and eager to keep learning. Thank you, Taylor!

Coach Taylor is AMAZING! She is very attentive to my son's needs. She is very observant and attentive to his skill set and recognized a gift in him that made my baby so proud of himself. I feel so blessed to have her on this journey with us, as we work to nurture his swimming gift, and elevate him to the next level. She is truly gifted in teaching, guiding, and encouraging. The Y is very fortunate to have her! Her kindness speaks volumes and to see the care she takes when she is with my son brings me joy!
I have to add while we adore Coach Taylor, his swim coach for group classes, Coach Anne, is absolutely amazing as well! She takes time with the children and hones in on their individual strengths and works on their weaknesses, while still being encouraging. She is very good with my son as well, and also noticed his gift in swimming. It makes my heart so happy to know I have a village at the Y helping my son thrive!
