I truly truly enjoy going to the YMCA in Burlington. The YMCA facilities out there I believe saved my life after my transplant surgery the physical therapy and then the workout areas themselves every place and everyone helped me to get better and better each day and still working toward being 100%. I would recommend the YMCA to family friends strangers anybody I talk to.
The silver sneakers class. The teachers are amazing. The members are so friendly.. Great environment
Ways to stay healthy
Classes
I love the fitness center. I plan on trying some aerobic classes in the future.
My family and I went to the RC Durr Y for some family swimming fun. Since this is what we did, I can only comment on our experience at the outdoor pool area. I don't know the woman's name who was at the desk at the pool entrance, but she was wonderful. Since it was our first time visiting this Y, I had a lot of questions. She couldn't have been nicer to us. She greeted us each by name as we scanned in and answered all my question with a smile. She gets 5 stars! I found the guards that I talked to to be friendly as well. My grandchildren were so excited to see the slide and splash areas and had a great time. I have only one negative comment. It was a requirement for me to leave my keys at the desk in order to use a floatation device for my granddaughter. So I left my keys. We stayed till closing and when I went to get my keys, they were just hanging on the hook in the entrance office area. The door was open, lights out and no one there. Anyone could have taken my keys and with them, my car. Overall,
we had a great experience there and will be back..but I 'll be bringing my own puddle jumper.
I work out there and the staff is always helpful if I have a question and they keep my diabetic stuff at the counter while i am there. There is no judgemental attitude from the staff.
