Programs, exercise room and fellowship

Lots of opportunities to stay strong and healthy, in a clean pleasant atmosphere.

The Y and the weight room bring me to the Powell Crosley Y. The staff are amazing and friendly. When I leave town, I can visit other facilities without charge. Definitely a bonus. Did I mention the staff is amazing?!

The facility at the Powell Crosley location has a wheelchair ramp into the outdoor pool and a similar entrance into the water park pool, however, it is not completely accessible for people with mobility issues, aged, and disabilities. Although it greatly serves this population. For instance, there are no handicap buttons to open heavy doors to the pool areas and weight room. I asked a woman a few days ago how she gets through the doors with her wheeled device and she said she has to turn around backward and push open the door with her backside. This becomes more difficult when the bubble goes up in the winter (over the outdoor pool) with the pressurized doors. Let's improve access in the building, even if it is excluded due to the "safe harbor" clause of the ADA. Of which, I'm not sure it is. Thanks for having such a wonderful facility. I hope it can be updated to provide an independent experience for all of those who come to participate.

So many programs offered for both the to oung and seniors. Keep it up people!

I love thé location of the camp, I love the hours of the camp cater to working parents, I love that lunch is provided and children get to swim daily

Pool and treadmills

I like the instructors that lead the classes, the chair yoga, which I take and also the silver sneakers classic I also like meeting new people I’ve met a lot of friends. I am a recent widow, and it is nice to meet other women who are also lost their husbands very encouraging. It gets me out of the house. I feel like I’m doing something for myself.

The people

The instructor, Donna R., is great. She provides Lively fun with consistent support and enthusiasm!

I like the variety of exercise classes for older adults, and the water clases. The gym has great equipment to do work outs too.

The pools

The water aerobic classes.

I like the exercise classes and playing pickleball. I would like better facilities indoors for pickleball or at least more accessibility, but do realize that summer camp and gymnastics uses the same space.

Peaceful environment very relaxing people in pool area very friendly I haven't been attending class at the YMCA because I moved willing to drive to Winton Road to Powel Crosley

Love your programs all Water programs, Chair exercises ,Silver sneakers, Fitness room still venturing out you have other programs I want to try also

The workers and the users all quite friendly. The facility well managed. All is well.

The classes has a very organized structure and the ease of scheduling the class. The downside however is that individuals attend classes without reserving and it can tend to get overcrowded and uncomfortable.

it is fun, engaging and family friendly! my family loves the Y because there is ALWAYS plenty to do and it is affordable for us in our budget. So why not use the Y and get toned?

My wife and I have been really impressed with the programs offered through Silver Sneakers. We also like the Senior program. Powell Crosley's staff has been especially friendly and helpful. Cindy at the front desk and Nicole as administrator/instructor have very helpful and friendly. I feel that everyone has been good to us but I wanted to mention those two. Another standout is Renee K. who is the instructor for the water aerobics class. Her class is so popular because she is so good and thorough. Another class that is very impressive is the water arthritis class. Although it is taught by volunteers, it is very thorough and well done .Frank and Karen are just very dedicated to presenting a class that is so helpful. I am sure that I am not mentioning many who are deserving of acclaim but these are the ones that I have dealt with who are so outstanding.

I LIKE THE WATER AROBIC CLASSES FOR SENIORS NEED A FEW MORE CLASSES ADD.

I'm not very familiar with the programs and activities. I mostly enjoy the outdoor pool and the fact that it also has the water park for the youngsters.

I mostly go to swim laps but it's a welcoming environment great people and a good facility.
