Friendly pimple good and knowledgeable of there classes. Make it fun and want to hurry and come back
Good instructors nice workers at desk
But not enough classes to accommodate all members
People make a reservation and then do not show up.
Deep water and shallow always filled up.
And you go on a waiting list.
Adding more classes will help. But also would help if the people who j7st come to get in water to chit chat and not exercise could go to another part of pool.
I know majority of people are elderly as am I. But you can't wear hearing aids in water

All the people at the front desk!
Yoga stretch has been extremely helpful with physical & mental health. I like being in a group class. Sometimes, I work out in the weight room after my yoga class. I can set my own pace.
There is such a wide variety to choose. Everyone surely would find at least one they enjoy but I’m confident they would find several.
The water classes are outstanding

Shallow water aerobics
Love deep water swimming classes with Renee and Nancy. It's the thing that brought me to the Y and the program that keeps me as a member. Cindy at the front desk is always friendly and honestly makes me happy when I see her. Rick is a volunteer machine. He is always doing something and you can tell he is so passionate about the Y and making sure people are welcome.
Everything!
You changed the time to before the pool opens, and lowered the number of participants from 30 to 25 for the shallow water class, one of your most popular classes-- and when you need to register 48 hours before-- which is 2 days before the 9:00 am class-- it's a race to register -- last Tuesday, 11-12-- I went into registering, exactly at 9:00AM-- and already, there were only 2 spots left-- AT 9:00 AM!-- when registration opened up-- so I clicked on to register-- and since I needed to re- log which is ridiculous, since I'm already logged into the ap--I lost my place, and I was already 3 rd on the wait list. And for some reason, I do not get email notifications from you all-- even though you have my email address-- so if someone cancelled, and I was able to get into the class, I wouldn't have known. So I have several issues with you all now--
I called the desk-- and asked if these classes become available before the actual time-- in this case, 8:59 instead of 9-- and the response was flimsy-- well some clocks are different-- I go by the time of my cell phone-- which I'm fairly sure is the accurate time-- I realize you have a shortage of life guards, and that's why these changes were made-- but I have a hard time even believing this-- since I usually see several walking around the Y at 9:00 am--
I don't know if you have received other complaints regarding the change to this class-- and maybe it doesn't matter to you-- since it is only one of several classes that you offer-- but for what it's worth-- this water class was the main reason I joined the y in the first place-- and I don't want to do the deep water class-- and maybe the aquatic arthritis class is an other option--
but again, given the popularity of the shallow water class,-- I would think you would want to have as many members participate as possible-- especially since it usually filled up at 30-- and now it's harder obviously at 25, and I would be surprised if this is the first complaint you have received since the change was made.

I love the water exercises and the chair yoga.
