What do you like about our programs and activities?

I'm a new member so I can't speak to a lot of them, but I like the indoor pool and walking track. The women's locker room is always really clean as well as the lobby. The people who work there are so nice. I've got to say something else that might not be my business. While I was swimming this past Saturday at 11:00, I saw a swim class happening. The kids looked to be around five years old. One little girl was crying and crying and the instructor was snapping at her while she guided her through the water. She irritatedly asked, "Why are you crying?" and told her, "Stop crying." It made my heart hurt and I just wanted to talk to the little girl and say, "This can be really scary but in a while you'll feel more comfortable." I think a little sympathy would have been helpful. I also want to note that I know nothing about the situation with this little girl. I just saw five minutes of the class. Hopefully the instructor was more compassionate than what I witnessed and I just wasn't around for that part.

They are not very time consuming and they are convenient for the parents, and the kids just have fun!

The swimming exercise, the running track, the workout machines. A large choice to pick from. The people are very helpful. I will be telling my friends and family about the Y

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I am struggling with long covid and knee/shoulder arthritis. Fatigue and breathing have been difficult.
Finding the water aerobics classes is such a joy for me!
In the water (blissfully warm), I can move without a lot of pain. I didn't even get out of breath. I could move in ways that I can't even imagine moving above water. It felt wonderful!
The instructor is amazing, the participants are very sweet, the entire atmosphere is lovely.

I will look into a few of the other courses offered. I am looking at both knees to be replaced soon, and I am happy to have the water aerobics courses in my back pocket to help with my recovery (when the Doc OK's getting it wet).

Even after just one class, I can't imagine going without the workout. I am thankful that y'all are there for us all.

Your Instructor for water aerobics is tremendous. Your staff is very courteous and helpful. We enjoy the water volleyball.
