I enjoy talking to the staff and seeing my friends that I met at the Y
Predictable main pool hours. Good lifeguards. Erin great at desk.
I love Barb’s class MWF at 940!
I use the water aerobics class and love it. I just think we need another class. Our class is very full. Not much room.
Hours of available
So many to choose from, time that fit with lots of schedules, always introducing new classes
Love Mel and Jenny in SS. Love the variety of activities and times!
Everything!
Swimming pool senior classes
The morning comraderie of the warm water main pool keeps me coming — and I like Linda A, our lifeguard. She is very encouraging to all the swimmers. The morning front desk staff is very outgoing and friendly as well.
BUT BUT please please have the kiddie pool completed for this summer. It was a real bummer for families this past year when the children’s pool was closed—that seemed REALLY poor business forecasting and should have been immediately dealt with. If I had young children, I probably would have quit over that problem.
Thank you for all that you do!!! I love my Y!
I like the workout area with the TVs, lap swim, sauna/steam rooms, friendly staff and location (I can walk to and from the Y).
Your Fitness center is great and I love your Tai Chi programs.
The friendships I have developed
great people not far from our house.
Unfortunately, I'm one of those members with a busy schedule who hurries down to the Y in the afternoon, hurriedly works out, and heads for home.
I do find your staff welcoming and helpful whenever I DO have a request.

Friendliness
I especially love the water aerobics, the Strength Train Together and Yoga classes. It's good that there are a variety of workout programs. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. The people participating in the classes always make newcomers feel welcome.
My favorite activity is swimming laps in the main pool because the water is warmer than the other pool. This pool is also brightly lit.
The Y offers popular fitness activities that we can try for free. I have tried yoga, aqua yoga, water aerobics, zumba and tai chi. Every instructor has been welcoming, excellent and no pressure. I'm thinking of trying cycling next.
I also like the free advice from the personal trainers. They provide orientation on the exercise machines, as well as, advise how to meet your goals. I was able to lose 50 pounds, thanks to the personal trainer's advice on daily exercise and utilizing myfitnesspal.com.
The staff are extremely friendly and I have made friends with members. I'm very grateful for the Blue Ash YMCA.
I liked the step class and the Pilates class. I also love the heated pool for Dee[p Water classes.
Friendly people and staff in a Christian environment.
Friendly
I'm one of those people who does my own thing. I have my routines, I come often and use the training center and the pool very regularly. The Blue Ash YMCA is convenient and friendly. The quantity and types of equipment is satisfactory and in my opinion better than the Blue Ash Rec center. There are only a few things that bother me. One, and the most important, is people sitting on a machine, not using it, but talking to others or on their phones. More often than not on their phones. I think that is being very inconsiderate of others who want to use the machine. The other thing is when the shower soap dispensers are empty. I don't mean just one empty dispensers but 3 or more. Usually this occurs early in the week, Mondays especially.
Everything is available to you for one price.
