I am a Senior and there is plenty for Seniors at the Y.
Pickleball is my sport. Nice to have a place to play, especially in the winter.
Right now I have only been to silver sneakers group exercise classes and I really enjoy the workout I get.

Group exercise
Staff is friendly and YMCA works to provide services for the community. For example many locations have closed their pools and the Campbell county YMCA has worked solutions to keep this service available.
I have only used the fitness room during the past few weeks since it appears that most programs have been suspended for the time being due to the coronavirus. I really enjoy working out in the fitness room. There is a nice variety of equipment, and the rule to wear masks at all times is obeyed by almost everyone.

Group fitness classes
Staff and facilities are great. I've worked out in other gyms from time to time. The Y feels like home.
I haven't participated in any programs yet. I'm considering swim lessons.
Love the classes and kids club. The front desk staff are so friendly too. Love the Y!

friendly staff, opportunities for older adults
Love the 5:30 PM Strength Training class. Preferred it better on Monday and Wednesday than the current Tuesday and Thursday. It's really the only class/activity I do at the Y.
It does surprise me that the Y allows the cheap face shields rather than masks. I doubt they provide much protection for the persons wearing them and to those around them. Management should take a peek at that.
I really like and benefit from working out in the fitness center!

You can work at your own speed when working in the gym there is a trainer on duty ready to help
At this point haven’t been using a lot of services or programs due to COVId- but we love the new family swim!
We like the small friendly feel about the programs. We like the other nice members of the Y. We like seeing our friends there. We like the organization the programs have.
