I haven’t actually participated in any classes, but I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff at the Y. They treat every single person who walks through the door with so much kindness and respect. I am always impressed, and going there is a pleasure.
My trainer Jonathan is awesome! The staff are friendly and facility is clean. I have NO complaints. I even love the coffee!
I love Werq class!! It is so much fun and I don't feel like I'm "working out" but I actually burn almost 500 calories each class! Mindi is a great instructor!
All the programs are great. And staff members are especially friendly, accepting, flexible, and encouraging.

the indoor pool. What happened to the outdoor pool. I moved to Chattanooga to swim in that pool. I would like to organize a fund raiser to build a new outdoor pool

Swim classes
There is always a good daily variety of classes so it is easy to supplement your workout with a range of different options and different instructors. I am concerned as to how crowded it is getting ... it seems to be getting worse. Weight room, elliptical machine, and parking seem to be the most impact. I can schedule my workout at about anytime during the day but at this point, finding a less crowded time is getting tough.
Aside from this .. I think the Y has kept up with the times ... and is doing an overall great job juggling your many community programs.
Love childcare and the staff. They are wonderful. Every Y staff member I’ve interacted with has been helpful, cheerful, and welcoming.
I have LOVED the Monday Tabata Class with Sarah and the Monday Piyo Class with Stephanie. Taking those back to back has made for a great workout and stretching for me. I am also a HUGE fan of Kelly’s Wednesday Bootcamp class. It is by far the most challenging class I’ve ever taken. Sarah, Stephanie, and Kelly are great instructors and keep me wanting to come back week after week. I also love being able to run on a treadmill on cold or rainy days.
Deep water excrise
Please recognize Ann water aerobics instructor for staying with me, praying with me, until ambulance arrived during my hip dislocation ( which had nothing to do with Y, all my own medical issue). I will return to the Y when released by surgeon to enjoy the people and activities at the Y.
Thanks also to the E.D. who was so professional and kind during this difficult time.

I don’t do any classes, but do enjoy a plac where my friends and I can workout and relax together. I will say one comment of what could be better. The chemical mix in the hot tub seems much too strong.
