Mathnasium in Mt. Lebanon has been fantastic for my son. We originally joined so he would have help preparing for the Algebra 1 Keystone. My son commented right away on just how helpful the 1:1 sessions were. After they worked through a study guide provided by my son’s school, they provided another prep test to work through and also focused on areas where he felt less confident. He ended up passing the testing in the advanced range so we were thrilled. My son said he never would have scored this high without the extra support here. It helped ease his nerves and gave him confidence.
We’ve continued sessions now so that he can review geometry concepts 1:1 and have extra support on questions he may get wrong or not understand fully from class. We really can’t stress enough how helpful these sessions have been!
Our son has had a great experience with Mathnasium of Mt. Lebanon. He was not at his grade level after the COVID-19 pandemic. By going through the tutoring program at Mathnasium, he has regained his confidence and is doing very well in his grade level math class. We also appreciate the flexibility in choosing online or in-center tutoring.
Mathnasium has been wonderful for my son. He needed support preparing for the Algebra Keystone exam last year and the teachers here were immensely helpful. They explained things well, pulled up additional materials after they’d finished his packet from school, and really helped to boost his confidence. He had less anxiety going into the test and ended up scoring in the advanced level. He told me he couldn’t have done that well without the 1:1 help here.
He’s now in weekly sessions for Geometry and we’re so happy to have this extra 1:1 time and support.
Connor really loves Mathnasium. I feel like it is honing one of his strengths, and that's exactly what we were looking for.

My only regret is I didn’t contact Mathnasium sooner. My son is in the 8th grade and fell behind in 7th grade due to COVID. The Mt Lebo Center has been incredible and so helpful with reviewing past lessons and helping to understand current lessons. My son once again is enjoying math and we are very grateful to the entire team!

This program has been fundamental during an unforgiving time. Our son was having tremendous trouble understanding his basic math concepts and the pandemic heightened his anxiety surrounding that trouble. Once he was able to think of math within a mathematical community, the concepts began clicking for him. It felt more organic and as apart of life rather than annoying homework. We love Mathnasium and look forward to where our son will be in the future with the program.

Our experience with Mathnasium of Mt. Lebanon has been amazing! They all work together as a team and have helped my daughter tremendously in every way. Her confidence in herself has grown, she has excelled in her school work and looks forward to seeing Nate and Scott. My daughter went from 52% to 85% - 95% on tests, on the first try! Mathnasium Mt. Lebanon has been awesome for us. They have saved us so munch anxiety and arguing. Mena and Preeti are very responsive and are willing to do what it takes to help all their students. Wether it’s for extra help or accelerated students. I would highly recommended them!
My daughter especially loves Sam. She has been getting more confident in math since starting mathnasium and no longer fights us when doing math homework. Overall her grade at school has improved in math as well.
So far Serra is enjoying the course.
The one area where I would benefit would be to have more visibility on what she is working on and what areas she needs to improve in to move to the next level.

The instructor Scott is engaging and fun to work with. My daughter's grade and confidence are increasing with each session.
The individuals that run this center and the instructors are personable, intelligent, and are dedicated to making sure that each student is learning. They work hard to create a fun environment that will help your child development a life-long love of math and excel in school. They are constantly assessing how they are working with the students, so that they can ensure that the students are learning effectively. Also, they work with the parents to develop a strategy that works best for their child.

Mathnasium has not only taught my son math, but he now has the confidence to complete his school work. His math grade in school is the best it has ever been and he just keeps saying, “math is so easy now.” All of the instructors are fantastic, and being able to see and meet young adults that enjoy math has been eye opening for my son. Thank you Mathnasium, the instructional strategies, attention to detail in running the facility, and learning atmosphere are truly making a positive difference.

I thought my daughter, age 7, understood far more than she actually did in math. She was relying on my 'help' more than I realized with her math homework. I can see now what real confidence looks like when she truly understands the concept. Also, I homeschool her so the hour that she works with the Mathnasium coach online is like a vacation to me. She is learning... I am relaxing!

Mathnasium helped my son turn his E in math to a B in just one semester. Not only has this helped with his grades it has given him new found confidence. He went from very shy online to being able to speak up and ask questions. I am so so thankful that we found Mathnasium. If your child is struggling in Math there is no better place for them to go. I felt at my wits end when I called Mathnasium. I felt there was nowhere to go to get him the help he so desperately needed and then we found this wonderful place. The teachers are amazing and the owners are wonderful. They help and guide you with many options and explain the process with clarity.
