Member Testimonials
Great classes...and good staff. Great environment!
Senior fitness is vigorous and focuses on targeted needs that are universal. Cardio health, stretching and flexibility, strength training and balance. Nothing fancy just the key factors to support vitality, comfort and sense of well being. Huge gift! No less difficult to establish a class attendance habit and THAT is a individual issue that stubbornly eludes outside motivation efforts.
lots of cardio and weight machine options
Water aerobics
Swimming is easy. Seldom wait. Locker room kept clean
love the people here and my wife enjoys multiple classes and even a personal trainer. Great family environment.
Family environment
Helpful and friendly employees
Several activities and programs to choose from
I like that the gym is well maintained and everyone is friendly. It’s not a bunch of jocks trying to out-lift each other, just regular people trying to stay active and healthy. I do wish there were more mid-morning Zumba classes or dance-based classes as opposed to afternoon Zumba classes, but what is offered is doable and the instructor is great.
I am starting to try the water classes. I was hoping for a water aerobics class but there isn’t one, or the descriptions don’t seem to indicate that’s the intention of the class. I tried an aqua Zumba classes but it wasn’t what I was hoping it would be. Perhaps I just need to keep trying other instructors to find what I am looking for.
There are a good variety of programs offered. Employees are very polite & helpful to members. Good hours of operation. Good inside temperature year around.
Good facilities. Warm, helpful staff. Wide variety of classes. Great hours.
So many opportunities to try different classes
The Livestrong and Staying Strong programs have changed my life. Michelle and Brie are great trainers and people who genuinely care about their clients.
I also enjoy Saturday morning water Zumba with Destiny...just wish we had this class in the evening too.
Foremost, I really appreciated that membership can be income based. The only reason I had to cancel my membership before was because $80/month wasn’t sustainable for me as I had recently went through a job change AND started my family. The next biggest thing is childcare while I workout. My kids can be just as sociable as me in an environment that is friendly and age appropriate. Coming back has been a game-changer in not only my fitness journey, but that of my family as well.
I love the Pool.
Can put a Dodge ball day?
We like the classes for senior adults! We go three days each week.
I like the pool programs.
There are quite a variety of classes.
We love the YMCA, we have John as our personal trainer and he is amazing! He is so good to work with us and he understands our needs and what we are wanting to accomplish with our work outs. The staff are always so friendly. The two in particular that are always smiling are Alexis and Jason. Both are wonderful as are everyone at the Y.
Thanks YMCA!
Senior classes
Wonderful pool and classes! Thank you to the friendly staff at the Y! Keep up the great work in our community!
I like how spaced out everything is and the variety of equipment.
I like that they have a class for every level of fitness.
I love my trainer. She’s amazing. The personal training is a little pricey, but I make room for it in my budget because I’m getting so much benefit from it.
Different classes...different times
I love the fitness room and child care watch.
Friendly staff, clean facility and all the equipment 8 need.
Facilities, staff, services, all! I hope the pit doesn't get too crowded after the renovation
I haven’t attended a class yet bc I work weird hours, but I love the YMCA!
