I'm still new to the area, but when asking neighbors about where to go for a good gym, they recommended the Y. I like the equipment at the facility and that I can usually do my stretching at one of the class studios. I do wish there was a small separate section for women only, it can be intimidating working out in a crowded area (also because I have a disability that I am a bit self-conscious about).
The people there are very friendly and helpful; anyone looking for a place to go for swim, racquetball, aerobic classes or other workout options should check out the YMCA downtown, it's a great place for all that you need.
friendly staff. variety of programs to fit the needs of all ages. the open door policy, the time of operation and the cleanliness is always a positive
I love the variety of classes!

Good senior fitness program
Teachers are great and very conscientious about challenges of seniors' bodies!
Facility very nice. My husband would like to see a punching bag area (as the Cleveland YMCA) has. Have not taken any classes so cannot comment on programs/activities.
The aerobics room at the front of the facility could use a thorough cleaning. Staff all very friendly, helpful, accommodating and nice.
How many you have. easy to drop in
I have not done any programs or activates. Staff is friendly, helpful, and the club is always clean.
Love afterburn! Parking guy is lovely some days and quite aggressive other days…. Not sure which one you’ll get😬
I love the water aerobics
We love the Y.
The variety!
The freedom to workout on my schedule.
They keep up with changing programs as to what people want. The facilities are always kept up and equipment is maintained to keep the people safe and happy.
The addition of a second AOA class is much appreciated. This class offers flexibility for seniors in a wide range of physical abilities.
I really love the H and i have not had any problems with them. I am also a staff so I know that every staff is intentional to their members. The Y also try to push for the same christian ideals in which I highly believe in.
Everything
Classes offered, cardio and exercise equipment. Staff very friendly!
All the choices. I am really just getting back into regular exercise with you. I've mostly walked outside once the pandemic was in full swing, and I'm now again working on the machines and swimming some. And the people who work there are all helpful. Have to check into yoga again.
