Love my local Y Center. I am a regular there and it is now significant part of my life. Great facility and wonderful people. I would recommend North Plaza Y Center without reservations.
The place is very nice and clean. You have good group programs as well. Price is affordable.
My five-year-old daughter loves it at the Y in Parkville because of stay and play and the play area and of course swimming plus we are on welfare so the amount we have to pay a month is totally worth it, I am hoping to send her to summer camp but I need financial assistance and she also needs to get swim lessons but I was going to do that with camp. Also the Y staff members are awesome and extremely helpful

We love it! The people are nice and we love the facilities.
I enjoy the zumba classes led by Yoko very much, and have been a part of that for about three years.
I also liked Patti's Everfit class, but I eventually had a conflict and had to drop that one.
When people come into classes while we are working out it is extremely distracting, and I wish they would not do this.
As for the hot weather, I wish the Y would install oscillating fans on the walls in Rooms A and B. The type used in schoolrooms would work perfectly. The fans used now do NOT do the job.

Mostly, I love the various water fitness classes in the pool.
I can always get on the equipment. Nice clean facility!
The staff is very professional and there are many friendly people working out there.
I like the layout of this Y. There are many different machines to add variety to your workout, and plenty of space to do free weights, stretch, or work with excessive ball. I also like that there are so many mirrors so that you can check your dorm. Would be great to add more mirrors in the front section.
My son loves the parents night out. He gets to see friends from an old program he went to and has a great time.
I get quiet time that I enjoy too.

I use the swimming pool for lap swimming once per week and usually have a lane to swim in in the afternoons. Also, the facility is kept relatively clean and the staff are helpful.
Helpful & friendly staff. Great facility. Pickleball program starts too early and is not long enough for eight player to participate in two games per players. Most other pickleball providers have a 3 hour session and play does not start until after 10 am.

The "Y" has been extremely helpful to me in keeping up my physical conditioning. I work out on the fitness machines for four days per week and swim at least once per week. My workouts are usually last about 45 minutes each. My only goal is to stay in as good as some of the men my age , but better than most. I will be 83 next month. I always feel good after my workout and shower to face the rest of the day.
