Location is very important, and since it located about 10 minutes from my home and 5 minutes from my placement of employmen, it is very convenien.
The initimate setting. The Y is not only family oriented, but the small setting allows members to develop a repoire with each other.
Its members as well as employees are quite friendly and professional.
I love the water aerobics class at the Ellicott City Y but I dislike the dressing rooms. The need more of them. People hold the dressing rooms for their friends or relatives. Some of the people are dirty/nasty. They clip their toe nails/fingernails and they be spitting in the shower. But again Kelly the water aerobics instructor is the only reason I still go to that facility.
Friendly kind and courteous service. Trainers are well knowledgeable and experienced in their craft. Always willing to go the extra mile for you. Fitness equipments are very up to date. Great program for everyone.

The friendliness of the staff and Y members. It was my first time being at the Druid Hill Y and it was fantastic. The building was very clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Archie's flexibilty and silver sneakers classes. He took the time to remember our names, which was very important to me. He was very observant and knew when I wasn't doing the routine correctly. It was pointed out in a very constuctive way. The class members also made me feel welcome and I will be returning.

I thoroughly enjoy my experience at the Y in Druid Hill. If I lived in the area I would be there a lot often. I come and bring family members to enjoy the pool for Aqua Boot Camp. My grandchildren enjoy the family center, while their Mother and I enjoy the pool. It's a friendly, safe and family atmosphere.

The historical feel of the building, friendly staff and “enough” workout equipment makes the location desirable.
I like the fact the during my fitquest my instructor ‘Theresa’ was very knowledgeable about all the equipment. She was very motivating yet she kept it professional. I’m very impressed with Theresa and the rest of the staff. They’re all warm and inviting!

Friendly staff and clean new equipment
Druid Hill Y is the best kept secret in West Baltimore. I call it my private gym. Machines are in great working order and accessible. The place is clean. Staff is friendly.
The weekend staff is so polite and helpful. I am excited to come from where I live to be active here because it's just a welcoming place to be!!!! Thanks Xeniah for taking the time to show me how to correctly use the equipment!!!
