The instructors are great. Need more variety in classes in the evening.
The instructors were so gentle and kind with the kids, allowing them to learn in ways that were most comfortable. This allowed each kid to grow at their own pace and learn to enjoy and respect the water.
Initially scheduled this class at Catonsville but changed after first lesson - the instructor was not friendly and there were way too many kids in the pool for anyone to learn how to swim.
Came back to my HOME ymca where the staff is excellent! Both instructors are always on time and are extremely helpful and friendly and know how to encourage my kid to flourish
I have always enjoyed the people who work there; from Archie to Fern! They and everyone in between helped me learn the machines, told me the do's and don'ts in exercising, and stretched my expectations. No matter how long I stay away, I know my family at the "Y" are there.
I like the water exercise class
The Y in Druid Hill provides unique pathways to prolong your life. A healthy life promotes good feelings, uplifts the spirit, and results in a better night's sleep. Your weight loss or better A1C levels, leads to opportunities to inform family and friends why one feels so healthy. A regular personal workout routine at the Y inspires the feeling of "I have to go to the Y". Being a member of the Y provides ways to meet new friends, participate in field trips, and other Y sponsored activities. The staff at the Y at Druid Hill, are professional, and maintain a good rapport with all members.
