Great staff

Mathnasium has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and for our family! Their hours, coupled with no appointment needed, but make it convenient and accessible.
I knew Mathnasium was a fit after speaking with Alan about my daughter’s inability to do well in Geometry when she had done well in Algebra the previous year. He explained it is common among high school students to do well in one and not the other. We also discussed test anxiety and ADD as contributing factors to her grades. He was immediately able to offer effective suggestions for which we are very grateful. In additional, Alan is familiar with the syllabus and faculty at my daughter’s school (Bishop-Gorman), which was an additional bonus!
Having only been tutored privately in the past (which Mathnasium can also do in every STEM subject I recently discovered), my daughter has been able to develop confidence in working more independently.
I highly recommend Mathnasium. It has been a relief and a blessing to have the additional help and support they consistently provide.

My daughter loves going to tutoring and always wants to stay longer. All of the staff are incredibly nice and patient with my daughter. Alan is also very patient and super understanding. I highly recommend this location.

This place is amazing! My daughter was struggling with Calculus and we had hired her teacher to tutor her the previous year. She had to retake every single test for the entire year. We put her in Mathnasium this year because she was still struggling and spending 3 hours on just math homework every night. After just two weeks she aced her math test the following week. She now has not had to retake one test and is getting her homework done within one hour and is even a lesson ahead. Mathnasium doesn't just go over the math problem they find the holes in the foundation and core concepts that she missed and reteach that. She has time to ask questions on the concepts she doesn't understand and the tutors are able to put it into terms that she understands. Sometimes they have to explain it a few times but then the light bulb goes on and she keeps moving forward, needing less and less help. Allen is the Director at the Red Rock Mathnasium and he is the best! He really takes the time every time I come in to pick up my daughter to explain to me what she's working on and how she's improved or where she needed help. Allen truly cares about helping and it shows! If your hesitating over the cost, don't. We paid $40 for 1 hour a week for a year and it didn't help other than getting homework accomplished. She is able to go several times a week for 2 hours. They monitor her progress too to make sure her foundation is strong and that she will be able to work independently in the future . This program is invaluable. My daughter went from crying every day over math to being on top of the world when she gets done with Mathnasium. She feels like she knows what she's doing and she doesn't have to come home and stay up all night trying to self teach calculus with google tutorials. I also want to mention that I sent my younger daughter 2 years ago to the Durango location and she was a 4th grader at a 1st grade level (thanks to 4 years of Common Core) After 3 months she was a grade level ahead of the class, testing at a 5th grade level. Thank you so much to the Mathnasium staff. I would recommend your program to anyone struggling with math. Thank you!

I like the way they are really trying to get the kids to learn, no matter how many problems they may be having trying to grasp the concepts of their assignments.

My daughter, was scared, nervous and had anxiety when it came time for math. Now she loves math. She just wrote a paragraph, for ELA about her favorite subject and stated it was math. I don't know what happened, and what exactly they do there, but they seem to be able to work miracles.
My daughter can't wait to go to Mathnasium Red Rock, and asks us can she go. Alan is excellent and the rest of the instructors and team are have really had a positive impact on her and has truly made math fun for her.

My son really enjoys going to mathnasium everyday. The instructors are great in teaching, especially Sara and Anida

My daughter is 12, going into 7th grade. She failed 6th grade math. Everytime, we discussed tutoring she would cry her eyes out. She felt stupid. We have been going to Mathnasium for about 1 1/2 months, she goes everyday for 1.5 hrs and participates in the game time. I can see her demeanor change, she has made comments like, "Oh my gosh, I get this now"...

It educated kids in a fun way and kids like very much

We've only been at Mathnasium for one month, but my daughter seems to be enjoying it. She is becoming more confident with her multiplication, division and fractions.

So far Mathnasium has been a great way for my daughter to work on Math over the summer, she is feeling confident for next school year!

My two girls just started going to Mathnasium 3 weeks ago and I am amazed on how fast they’re learning. I love that they love going there and look forward to their next lesson! Alan, the supervisor, is awesome and goes the extra mile to make sure the kids are comfortable and he always keeps the parents updated with their kids’ lessons and what they need to work on. I surely will recommend Mathnasium to my friends!

So far my daughter loves going. We'll see how this translates once school year begins. So far so good.
