Programs are structured with the age of the child in mind. Activities are fun and are sometimes used as learning moments. My son can't wait to get there in the morning and wants to stay when I get there to pick him up. That tells me he enjoys being there!
I love the director Ms. Tea at Explorer k-8, I fully trust her and her staff with my two children. My children cant get enough of the program. I am very thankful that we have the YMCA !

My son attends the program based out of Central high school. As a teacher at Central, I love how convenient the location is, saving me so much time, and the peace of mind of having my son close by. The staff are absolutely wonderful, they truly care about each child and it really shows. I love that they will send me pictures throughout the day and they always give me a detailed summary at the end of each day. I know that my son is safe and well-cared for when he attends!

Keeping my child active; my child shares such as on half days, the numerous times he gets to go outside and play. Also lime the variety of inside activities offered too.

Me. Rachel at Pine Grove is the best, hands down. She is great at communicating with families, it’s amazing with the babies, and is just a kind and understanding human. I fully trust with with my baby, which is such a hard thing to do with anyone. But she makes me feel confident that my baby is well cared for and loved while I am away. Thank you Ms. Rachel!

That my daughter is learning and making friends. Her teacher Ms Joanne goes above and beyond with her students. Between food activities and teaching them about different cultural holidays. Anyone I know with a child going into Vpk I will direct to the pine grove ymca Vpk program.
