Member Testimonials
The variety of activities available for the customers. Love the group x classes
Availability and friendliness.
I'm just about to inquire about requesting assistance from a personal trainer. I've been going to a rehab place and found it more like a social time for the employees. I'm sorry to be so curt but I am very disappointed. Maybe they're not all like that though but even my doctor said to go to the Y and get a personal trainer! I have some appointments this week but after that I'll be in there! I've been on an eliptical and my primary said that wasn't addressing my sciatica at all.
Variety
I just feel at home!
I only use the pool it's Outstanding .
Great exercise equipment! Great atmosphere and great people.
I love the classes. The people at Hernando one are so nice and kind. They’re having an art class I can’t wait.
Pool, kid camp,classes
So many options for all age groups
Love the pool and how staff keeps it clean, safe, and comfortable. Ongoing maintenance is labor intensive and costly. You guys are the best!
I love how flexible and affordable the programs are
Very social, very nice people to work with, very helpful.
I only come for water aerobics usually all 6 days. Love the program but sometimes hard to get a reservation and the classes are at max capacity.
I like that everyone feels welcome The staff is wonderful pleasant and helpful. It would be nice if the classes were easier to join. But there are a lot of people.
Since the pandemic I have not availed myself to the programs held indoors. I do,however, come to the water exercise classes. By doing so I not only get a good workout, but I’ve made the most wonderful friends.
Silver Sneakers and chair yoga are both good classes for the older members.
I can’t say enough good things about the staff! The Y is a great place to be!!! Name removed
Very informative and you can take all that you learned home with you to live a better life.
God selection of activities and exercise schedule.
With the popularity of the water exercise classes among us seniors, it would be great to see the class size increased. The Trinity Y closed down to 2 swim lanes during the water exercise classes. I realize that will inconvenience the lap swimmers, 2 swimmers per lane closed, but it would allow 4 to 6 additional people to attend each class. Keep in mind that you have cut the class size in half on Saturdays, so how about increasing class size. Short of building a 4 to 5 foot constant depth pool for classes and kid swim lessons this is all I see that will help the seniors get in the water exercise classes.
I'm only involved right now in the water exercises classes but enjoying them.
However, it is difficult to get signed in to the class. Maybe it is because I prefer the
early morning class.
Some have people at home to sign them in while they are still in class. Guess I need
to find someone :)
Staff is always friendly and willing to help if I neeed it. The trainers are great. The different machines in the gym are at different levels which is great for us older people. Also the Silver Sneakers programs. When the weather is warmer again I hope to get back to swimming laps. The past year has been very difficult for my husband and myself, but hoping to get back again.
Everything!! The pool the classes the gym lunch and learn days. All of it
Very energetic and friendly instructors who make exercise fun. Y programs help me to stay healthy and that is why I keep returning 6 days a week.
