Variety and flexibility.
I Love to swim and do the Treadmill.--- We are only down here for the month of February ( 4th year) and I swim a mile 5 x / week. The water is warm and the people and lifeguards are great. :-)

I like the fact that you offer many different classes and the convenience of times. I am able to go to the Y after 6:00 p.m. and the Y offers a good variety of evening classes.
The variety of actives. The amount of equipment in the gym. The very friendly staff.
The many different classes that are offered to the seniors.
Ann was very helpful in recommending machines to me and my husband.
I love all the Active Adult classes - Silver Sneakers, Strength Lite, etc. I feel like I get a good workout without and everyone in the classes is fun and easy to get along with.
I still want to learn the machines so I can add that to my workout regime. I scheduled two appointments for that purpose but. unfortunately, got the respiratory illness that seems to be running rampant right now, so had to cancel. I'm hoping to get back to the Y and reschedule my appointments in the next couple of weeks.
I also enjoy the social activities that are available to me.
The weight room
Facility is close to home and the employees are very helpful.
i Love the YMCA in hernando! i am physically handicapped and am unable to use the machines in the gym. i use their outdoor pool. most days it’s warm and that helps my severe neuropathy. i’ve found talking to most of the members who use the pool that they need the water at least 86-87, because it helps our bodies and it’s really the only exercise most of us have. i understand the water can’t be too warm for the swimmers who do laps, but please understand they are physically able to use the machines where we can’t. our YMCA is absolutely wonderful and very clean.
Many different machines to work different groups of muscles
Everything. Good things for all ages!
