Lots of different classes to choose from
The pool exercise programs are the only part of the YMCA that my husband and myself use almost everyday and the instructors are the greatest. (North Pinellas branch) These ladies really go out of their way to find new ways to improve our health. Anne is our favorite and Michele is a package of energy so they really bring in the crowds which brings me to my concern and maybe even a little complaint. The swim aerobic classes need more room in the pool on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Many of us are short and need to stand in the shallower end of the pool otherwise there could be a drowning. I really would love it if more swim lanes could be open for the classes giving us more room to exercise as that is the reason we all come to the pool. (keeping healthy after all) Maybe even close the pool for that small 1 hour of time so we don't have to all be crammed in like sardines for one or two people using a swim lane. The other issue is some of the swim equipment is broken and not usable. We all come to the Y to stay in shape and it would be nice if a little more interest was shown to the swim exercise classes by the administrators. You have great people doing good things for older folks in the pool. I give much credit to the swim instructors and I feel it would show them much respect for what they do if the Administrators would take these suggestions under consideration. Thank You. Name removed

Everything is Top Shelf. Recommend that you consider making a couple of the tennis courts available for Pickleball. It's becoming very popular and is easier for seniors to play. Recently played golf at Bardmoor and saw that the Tennis courts were packed with people playing Pickleball.

The tennis courts are top notch and the pool is great too. KIds Zone is wonderful for my grandchild as well.
We love the fact that you offer so many different programs & activities. And all of the staff explain everything thoroughly & show you different variations on how you can perform the exercises & use the equipment.

I always enjoy the Les Mills Body Pump and Body Combat classes. The wellness center is always clean. Family friendly atmosphere.
Friendly staff, great classes, clean facility and great location.
Caring attitude of staff when I joined and since then. Wonderful Qi Gong, T’ai chi and meditation classes taught by Cathy Ordway; very beneficial for my tremors of Essential Tremor. I recently started the Silver Sneakers Stability class and look forward to that also.
