Jason is an amazing bartender/person. He is always friendly, fast and having a great time. I've been coming to the Drafthouse for years, and now that highball is up and running I'm always poking my head into the highball to see if Jason is there.

What do you like about our products and services?

I just wanted to take time to send some kudos to your staff and venue. I was a guest of a film producer during SXSW. I had an amazing time at this event. The atmosphere and energy was infectious from the start. We had a private event at the Highball before the movie screening, and it was the perfect way to start off the night. The food was delicious. The drinks were divine. The staff took the cake though. They were very attentive and friendly. Jason somehow had a psychic connection with me. He knew I'd like a sparkling water with lime getting it for me before I even asked. Another bartender asked him to get me a beer, when he delivered it he asked if I'd like an orange or a lemon. When I asked for an orange he magically produced it with the flick of his wrist. I asked if he had both ready and he showed me his empty hands. Amazing!! I don't even get that type of service in LA. The theater staff was swift on their feet and very helpful. Whenever I'm back in Austin I'm definitely starting my night at the Highball.

What do you like about our products and services?

The bartender was so knowledgeable and friendly (will? bill?). It was actually my first time here and I honestly can’t wait to go back. Love the nostalgic vibe as well!!

What do you like about our products and services?

I was so happy to see the highball open. I had an amazing night out with friends a couple weeks ago. Jason is an amazing bartender. Very friendly, funny and takes time to connect with each customer he served. I've tried to come back to visit him, but you have been closed. Thursday, must have been my lucky day. Highball open and Jason working. It was a slow night but Jason still went out of his way to make the night special for us. I'll definitely be back soon to see him, fingers crossed.

We went to the bar at the S Lamar alamo & had a great time! Bartender helped us find the perfect beer & it was karaoke league afternoon!

Ordered a couple cocktails during happy hour and the bartender was very friendly. Felt super welcome and put me in the perfect mood to go see a movie.

Bar was pretty busy the last couple times I was in, but the bartenders managed to serve everyone pretty quickly. Also the house wine was better than I thought it’d be which was great.
