Great service and atmosphere

To be clear: I did NOT recently visit the Slaughter Ln. location in Austin. I visited the Downtown Los Angeles theater and bar, but there wasn't an option to select this location on the survey page (to be fair, I have been to the Slaughter Lane location several times before and I love it--I was studying at UT when it first opened).

Anyway, maybe this can get into the right hands at the DTLA location, because it's a great theater and I hope they know that. I haven't been to an Alamo Drafthouse in years, but this new location definitely scratched that itch I've been having for a bonkers-crazy theater where the employees love being there as much as I do.

I visited for the free screening of Buster Keaton's 'Steamboat Bill, Jr.' and loved it. I thought the service was great and very discreet. The decor of the theater itself was excellent and felt super cozy. And the Video Vortex is insane! I didn't have too much time to check it out, but I'm def going to be a regular renter there.

My only critique is that I had no idea how to get to the theater from the parking garage. There was some information and a small arrow, but I was wandering around for several minutes trying to find the escalator that took me to the theater. It would be a help to have more noticeable and easier directions.

But all in all, it's a great space that I'm going to be visiting more and more now. (Sorry for kinda rubbing your nose in it, Slaughter Lane. I love y'all, too.)

Drinks and food

The old timer is a good drink and our bartender was friendly and attentive. Love the slaughter lane drafthouse!

Alamo has become mine my my girlfriend's only movie theater for some time. 400 rabbits serves up some slamming drinks and we always like to come a little early and grab a drink before the show.

Firstly, I attended the new Alamo Drafthouse in LOS ANGELES, but that location was not in the drop down menu on the first page of this survey, something I urge you to rectify.

I love a lot of things about the new Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles, like:
1) the fantastic amazing framed enormous MOVIE POSTERS in the corridors
2) the BRIE PIZZA that I've had on both my visits so far
3) the incredible BEER SELECTION
4) the VIDEO GAMES
5) the FREE MOVIE RENTALS. I rented PAPER MOON and BMX BANDITS.

And many more things!
