My daughter enjoys going to mathnasium. The staff have shown her new ways to do math which has helped her so much. When we first signed her up for mathnasium she was below average in the Math STAR testing at the end of the school year of 2023. By the end of the school year on June 2024 her test results for the Math STAR testing were average for her school grade. She went from failing math to getting a B in math class. Her self confidence has improved which is one of greatest things of all. Thank you Mathnasium Team!

My 6th grade daughter has always struggled with math. After 8 months of our membership here she doesn't hate math anymore. She has improved so much and her confidence in math has increased. She has improved a whole grade in her math class. Nights of crying about having to do math are things of the past. She looks forward to tutoring and spending time there.
Mathnasium is a great place for kids looking for an extra challenge in math. They offer sessions all year round and even a summer camp! My daughter loves going there and mastering new skills.

We love this Mathnasium center! Both of our kids have been attending the summer program for many years now and they benefit greatly during the school year by avoiding the summer slide. The staff are friendly and professional. We recommend Mathnasium to anyone looking to get some extra help or get ahead in math.
Our 6th and 8th graders have been working with Mr. Stuart for the past year and he has helped them considerably. Both had struggled due to distance learning and were behind in their math skills. We are pleasantly surprised that they still enjoy going to their sessions!
My daughter was quickly falling behind. In addition, we were having a hard time communicating about the work she needed to do. I knew how to explain it to her, but was not able to get her to receive the information. Mathmasium helped us overcome that and helped her catch up.

I am happy to recommend the Mathnasium center in North Oceanside! Through their consistent attention to detail and compassionate instruction for our child, she steadily gained confidence and proficiency. They were willing to give her extra worksheets to keep her skills fresh during school breaks or when we needed to travel.
Aside from helping our child to develop her math skills, Mathnasium considered helping her with homework from school.
My daughter was failing math. She started to show so much improvement once she started going to Mathnasium. The staff is great. She enjoyed going there to get help. She ended up going from an F to a B. It was a great investment.
My 7-year-old daughter, enrolled in 2nd grade, attended Mathnasium 3x a week for the entire month of October in 2021. Their initial assessment reported she had "No Knowledge" in the areas of Double Facts, Subtraction Facts: Minuends up to 10, Addition Facts: Sums over 10, and Subtraction Facts/Missing Addends: Minuends Over 10. Their exit assessment completed four weeks later showed she had improved to a working "Awareness" in three of these four areas: Double Facts, Subtraction Facts: Minuends up to 10, and Addition Facts: Sums over 10. Also, she had improved her initial "Awareness" in Adding on to the Larger number to "Mastery" in this time. As a result, we would recommend Mathnasium to any student looking to improve their math knowledge and skills.
Within nine sessions, my daughter went from failing a math test in class 60% to 95%. She is grasping concepts now. She attends three days a week, and after her A+ math test, she is even more confident in math.
I love this place! My daughter went to mathnasium for about a month in the summer and left feeling more confident in math than I’ve ever seen her. She improved dramatically in just a month.
They offer a free consultation and see exactly where your child could use improvement. The manager gave her a candy after she took her test which made my child feel less “on the spot” and initiated the reward system early on.
Every time we had math she was excited and ready to learn. My daughter often came home and talked about the different tutors she had, especially Matt, who worked with her and how helpful and nice they are.
During the summer they also had fun dress up days like Pajama Day which made it exceptionally fun and offered a little more to the summer experience.
I will definitely be back, at least over the summer, to help keep my daughter refreshed with her math skills!
