My twelve-year-old grandson just began 6th grade. In a new school, with new teachers, he was nervous about the whole experience of "middle school." Math challenged him the first week. He agreed to visit Mathnasium at the end of that time. We went on a Saturday. His response was extremely positive on the first visit. The individual attention he receives there has increased his self-confidence. I am a retired teacher so I know something about the educational experience. I highly recommend Mathnasium. The teachers there are well-qualified, patient with students, and infuse the sessions with what they call "tricks" to explain mathematical principles. It is a "fun-place" to go, which in the world of learning, makes all the difference.

They made the experience at math fun and there points and prize programs was encouraging for them to do more. All 3 kids had a good time and they would loose track of time because of the interaction with the tutors. Now they feel more confident in math subjects.

They really helped our two boys ( high school age and college freshman) with their advanced algebra and calculus. The one on one tutoring, moving at their own pace, was really beneficial to them. Casey, the director, took the time and effort to evaluate each of our boys, then prepared and executed a plan for each of them to achieve their goals. Mission accomplished! We would highly recommend The Mathnasium of San Marcos to anyone looking to improve their math skills, whatever level you may be at.

Mathnasium San Marcos is simply wonderful. My 12 year old son thinks its "just a lot of fun". I have even recommended it to step-son who is now being tutored by the wonderful staff for help with his college statistics class.

Our daughter has always said she didn't like math and that she wasn't good at it. Truthfully, she has been advanced in math for most of her life, but she never loved it. This summer we signed her up since she is going into sophomore level math as a freshman. The staff have awakened a new love and enthusiasm for math in her. She nags me to take her and she wants to stay the entire hour. She is motivated by the prizes and the time with the friendly teachers.

Great place highly recommended to give your child a edge in math. Casey and Kevin are great!
