Mathnasium has picked up where the confusing math curriculum left my child……at a 3rd grade level. (She is currently in 7th grade.)

The current math curriculum focuses all its efforts teaching a young child 8-10 different ways to solve a problem instead of focusing on teaching them one way to solve a problem and reinforcing that way until the child has mastered it. AT THAT POINT, the child can be taught different ways to solve problems and learn the numerous short cuts to solving that problem!! The current math curriculum only served to confuse my child while building an enormous amount of frustration and negative mindset towards math. The mastery-based program focusing on achievement that is used at Mathnasium is working amazingly well, as it helps build the basic math foundation my child was lacking to be successful while simultaneously building back her confidence in her math ability!

I had a great experience with the Mathnasium of Purcellville! When I initially called asking for availability for my son to start tutoring, they quickly confirmed and set up an appointment. I worked with the Mathnasium team on a schedule that worked well for us. They were very flexible and easy to work with.

I had a wonderful experience with the team at Mathnasium. Everyone worked with me to achieve my goals and I feel prepared to take my upcoming test. I have actually learned to enjoy math with my experience at Mathnasium.

Our daughter has been in the Mathnasium curriculum in Purcellville VA for approximately eight months. Madison's math skills have dramatically improved including her anxiety for learning. The instructors and management are excellent. They communicate well, give updates on the progress of our daughter and are extremely professional. Madison feels very comfortable with the staff and program. Her grades in math have gone from almost failing to a B+ this past quarter. I would highly recommend Mathnasium, any child struggling with the concept of math can succeed in this program. The rates are also very affordable. I am having a wonderful experience. I went from a 4 grade level math to 10th grade level in a matter of 4 months. The teachers and tutors are friendly, positive, and try different learning techniques to help you improve your skills. I use to hate math, now I love it and look forward to attending classes.

Really helping my daughters confidence in math which is priceless. She said she is enjoying school now instead of hating it because she dreaded her math class.

Ms. Jing and her staff are amazing! They really care about all the students that come in. The tutors are patient and always happy to see us. My daughter’s confidence in math has grown so much in just 1 month! She looks forward to going to Mathnasium. She is thriving and I am so thankful!

Mathnasium helped our son so much. He was almost a whole grade level behind when he started. He is now making A’s on his math assignments and is much more confident. I would not hesitate to enroll him again if he ever falls behind.

Mathnasium has been absolutely wonderful for my daughter. She has been attending at the Purcellville location for almost a year now and has gained so much more confidence in Math. Mathnasium has been amazing! My child hated to do math and since going to Mathnasium is asking to go every day! They have found a way to make learning easy, fun and exciting.

Our child feels extremely comfortable with the tutors and staff. She has been improving her math skills very quickly, much faster than in a large classroom environment. Communication is also great, including progress reports in her academic achievement. Very grateful to have her getting the proper supplemental math skills she needs to excel in school.
