What do you like about our programs and activities?

I really love the Expresso bikes and I love the elipticals. I like the tv's positioned so you can watch while working out. I enjoy the lively music. I like the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. It is a pleasure to work out at this YMCA.

I love your programs and activities. Wished we lived a little closer to make participating easier on us. Craig Co needs a YMCA...just saying. We love Salem YMCA.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

We have belonged to the Y for many years. Our grandchildren learned to swim there, we workout there 4 - 5 times a week.

Out of town guests are welcome to use the facilities.

The staff has been friendly and helpful.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I mostly participate in the aqua exercise programs and sometimes in the
wellness room exercises on my own. I like the variety of the water classes, zumba, pilates, Barre and aerobic. The instructors are excellent and keep the classes interesting and effective. Scheduling classes at different times of the day works well for me.

The Salem Y is very clean, well-maintained with ample parking and friendly staff. I enjoy using the swimming pool and exercise equipment. An all-around great experience at the Salem Y.

I like the availability of your exercise classes. I especially liked the kickboxing class I tried recently.
I love the barre classes but would like to have more times available each day 5:30 or 6pm

This is not what I like but what I would like implemented. I would like to see spin class scheduled Monday - Sunday at least three times a day. I recently was in New Jersey for two weeks and while I was there I attended the local YMCA. That YMCA had spin class 7 days a week and on some days there were 6 scheduled classes.
Time to step it up at the Salem YMCA.

I love the workout room with the big view of the Roanoke Valley.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I really like the 45 minute Body Pump classes at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Salem YMCA. The time fits great with my work schedule and allows me to get home at a decent hour after my workout.

Also really enjoy CXWORKS on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Janni and Susan - it rocks!!!

Love the instructors too: Janni, Susan, Melissa (the school teacher), and Carol - are my favorite ladies!!!
