Mathnasium has a curriculum to follow but also can be flexible for when my son has a quiz or exam to help him prepare. I really appreciated how staff checked in with me to discuss goals, and recommended that my son up to two meetings a week, which has made a noticeable difference. Overall it has been such a supportive option for us, where an in-home tutor wouldn't work as well because our schedule can change from week to week.

My daughter loves going to mathnasium. She finds it fun and she finds the instructors exceptional at explaining concepts to her. I wish there were a Yarmouth office! She does not like remote learning so that is not an option for her.

We really appreciate mathnasium's support of my daughter's learning. My daughter has been struggling to keep up in her 4th grade math classroom. With regular tutoring sessions through Mathnasium she is now much more confident in math. Mathnasium helped her to review basic math skills building a strong foundation of understanding before moving on to more complicated concepts. My daughter has mostly worked with one tutor, Paul whom she really likes. However all of the tutors have all been very nice and patient with her learning. Each tutor seems to pick up right where she left off during the last session and this supports my daughter's progress.

My local Mathanasium in South Portland , Maine is fantastic. Nancy is an amazing tutor and never makes me feel inadequate. She is always encouraging and uplifting. I highly recommend Mathnasium for anyone struggling with math or wants the confidence in learning math that they never received in their younger years.

I was so impressed with Nancy, the owner. She has tremendous knowledge of academic requirements, and the skills to evaluate the specific help that would most benefit my granddaughter. For the month she attended while visiting us for the summer, she made impressive gains across the board. I only wish she could stay in Portland to benefit from the wonderful tutors who work with Nancy and positive environment she provides for students.
