Mathnasium has been there for my 3 children since elementary school. All of them are now in High School and have excelled in math - all now at Calculus and beyond. They would not be where they are now without Mathnasium.

They are very accommodating and worked very hard to make sure that the experience is pleasant for the child and the parents. When they were scheduling issues, they worked with us to make sure that we were able to get the date and time that we needed. Honestly, I couldn’t be more happy with the final product.

Mathnasium has a curriculum to follow but also can be flexible for when my son has a quiz or exam to help him prepare. I really appreciated how staff checked in with me to discuss goals, and recommended that my son up to two meetings a week, which has made a noticeable difference. Overall it has been such a supportive option for us, where an in-home tutor wouldn't work as well because our schedule can change from week to week.

My child experienced great progress with our commitment to this program. She enjoyed her sessions and looked forward them.

Great place for kids to focus.

Mathnasium is excellent! The tutors here specialize in creating a very positive environment and love motivating students to set goals and reach them. Math problems are presented and solved many different ways allowing the students to see more than one way to solve problems. I highly recommend Mathnasium for students who may struggle in a big classroom environment or for students that just want to keep their math skills fresh as well as for those who want to get ahead!

I love the way they teach to my daughter.

My 3 kids have grown tremendously in their math skills since starting with Mathnasium. They are all started their journey with mathnasium for different reasons, and it has been different kind of help to each of them, all of them doing solely the virtual sessions. Some have used it for homework help (while continually reviewing old concepts), and others have needed to focus on solidifying concepts they never retained. We have did some private tutoring sessions. I am grateful they have had the resource they have had in mathnasium!

My daughter was struggling with math when we decided to enroll her at Mathnasium. Today, just four months later, she has significantly improved her grades at school and feels much more confident in her math abilities.

We really enjoyed working with Coleman and now Sam and have nothing but positive things to say about the team at Portland Mathnasium. Excellent instructors! They meet your child at 'their level' and work with them to ensure they fill any gaps your child may have. Both my children have had very positive experiences!

It takes a while, but both of my kids have done well in Mathnasium. It's not a quick fix, it takes time so your kids do need to put in the effort. BUT, they teach them to actually understand and if the don't understand they keep working on it until they do. They take the time that isn't given in the school classroom.

We couldn’t ask for a better tutoring experience than we have had at Mathnasium. From the initial assessment process to the in person and online classes, everything has been professional, efficient, and effective.
