My daughter really likes going and is feeling more confident in her math skills. As parents, we love the flexibility in scheduling.

My son was very apprehensive at first, thinking he was bad at math and was self conscious. He was lacking in self confidence to say the least. After his first appointment his anxiety was gone and his confidence had slightly returned. Today, his confidence has fully returned, he loves how he’s being taught and treated and he talks about how great it is. He’s even referred a friend of his from his school who he knew was struggling and could use the help. Today they’re both doing really well and loving it!

London loves coming to Mathnasium. She has gone from a girl who loathed math to complaining about only being able to come 3 times per week.

Our 8 year old daughter is thriving in the program. Rick and his team are engaging and supportive. They have truly made math fun for her and her time spent at Mathnasium has helped with her anxiety around math. The curriculum is fantastic. Unlike the school curriculum, the Mathnasium program develops a deep understanding of numbers. I battled with other tutoring services to discover later that they were only tutoring my child to get through the grade without filling the gaps that were missing. Mathnasium fills the gaps and builds up confidence by filling these missing pieces sequentially. The program allows for tutoring and independent work so children are not lead through their mastery but instead develop mastery independently. This is not a rote memorization program. The best way to describe it is a deep fundamental understanding of numbers. It has changed my child’s relationship with mathematics and I recommend it to everyone.

My son enjoys the fun atmosphere, the content of his math program and the toys and treats based incentive program! I enjoy the flexibility of having 4 different times lots to choose from that are available 5 days a week.

My daughter has struggled with math through most of high school. And I am not good at math either so I was no help. It was stressful for Emily to not be able to understand and then having more learning piled on. Mathnasium has been so amazing!! John and Rick are kind and helpful. And all the tutors are excellent at teaching and so nice. Emily leaves her sessions at Mathnasium and says “I understand it now” and that is what matters! We couldn’t have done high school math without their help!!

Mathnasium has given my daughter the confidence to keep working at math. Her experience allows her to see that she CAN learn math with the right space to do so and maybe even enjoy it.

The program is great and fun for the kids, they enjoy going and working their way up to earn stars to save up for prizes on the wall. The only downfall is the price of the program. Having two kids in it is very expensive, and I will probably only be able to afford the first 6 months and then will have to look for a more cost effective option.
