When we first started coming to Mathnasium, math was a subject neither of my children enjoyed at school. Now, they are so confident and actually look forward to math! I am so happy to have the opportunity to support them in attending Mathnasium - it has made a huge difference in their perspectives and sense of self.
My son has been engaged taking the lessons and they keep him motivated to continue learning. The lessons have been in person and online during the pandemia and he was able to adapt to both ways.

Mathnasium was a great experience. There is an evaluation process at the beginning to determine where your child will begin, from there they put together a curriculum where all the deficits were and they begin learning. Shawn is a huge advocate of mental math!!! A skill we could all use a little help with. Mathnasium gave my daughter the confidence that she needed, not only in math, but knowing it was "OK" to ask questions. Great, great experience!

We came to Mathnasium when our youngest daughter started falling behind in grade 3 math. She was not crazy about doing more math outside of school, but Sean promised to keep it fun and challenging at the same time for her. He has managed to do exactly that, and I have seen both of my daughters’ confidence levels improve due to their increased math abilities and this has translated to much more confidence in their school and overall life. It has also improved our home life in ways that I had never imagined. Mathnasium provides a consistent program focussed on our daughters’ individual needs and excels in ways that in-home mentors would have difficulty in maintaining. It’s worth it!

Sean and his team of instructors are extremely knowledgeable, kind, outgoing and teach in way that makes learning fun. My son is in grade 7 and attends classes 3 times a weeks and thrives while learning in this environment. The approach that the instructors use is highly effective and allows the kids to feel comfortable asking questions. I highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent who has a child struggling with math. Best decision we could of made!
