Just moved here and enjoyed the Saturday expo to try different classes. I belonged to the Rec center in Forsyth county before moving here. I like that there are evening classes here along with morning classes to choose from. There is also a wide variety of class choices. The one class I really miss is a TRX class
Programs are wide ranging, for all ages.
Offering ticket packages to sporting events makes an evening out affordable.
Updating equipment to keep up with new trends and having knowledgeable staff to help make you feel comfortable in trying them out.
Everything is included, friendly staff, clean
I enjoy that the kids have a place to swim, play basketball and soccer. For myself, I enjoy that I have space to workout freely.
flexible schedules; child care
Family friendly atmosphere.
Great classes, variety and teachers.
I liked the teen workout program led by Morgan where she taught teens how to workout.
I like the gym too.
I think the pool should be changed to saline from chlorine.
I use the weights regularly and run on the track when the weather is bad. That's all I have time for. The weight room is well maintained.
I love your yoga classes and the whole facility is really nice.
The Coach Approach is a terrific program.
Like the programs for Seniors, but would like to see the class on Mondays and Fridays at 10:30 start closer to on time.
Family Oriented
Coach approach program is great!
Love all the variety of machines and how they are kept in great condition
Love the variety of classes available all day
Love the welcoming and community environment
Great facility
I love how friendly and community-minded the Y is. They make everyone feel at home. Diversity is really important to me, and the Y really brings that together.
I think having a program with free coaching is fantastic! Lind-Sae is wonderful and really is keeping me on track.
I also am glad that there’s a consciousness about the role of food in good health. I learned about, and now subscribe to, both Fresh Markets and Good Measure Meals, because of the Y.
My only negative is that I really would prefer that they didn’t play music at the pool. I like water jogging (on my own, not a class) because the water is peaceful and soothing. Music interferes with that.
Classes are fun. people are friendly. coaches are encouraging. The entire Y is so clean.Employees are very helpful.
Very spacious and liked the peloton’s.
Swimming
I like the yoga classes. The various types of clssses and teachers. The facilities are nice and clean I do wish there was another late afternoon/early evening -6 ish, yoga class. For work schedules 4:30 is too early and 7:30 too late I would like to go on my way home from work.
I like the many workout options. Lots if treadmills.
Yoga, pool, work out area,people👍
All equipment is well maintained. There is a variety of classes and activities. The Y is very family friendly. There are many activities for seniors.
The class variability!! The schedule diversity works great for meeting my needs!
I JUST LIKE THE LAID BACK VIBE
I like the swimming BUT for years now the electric sockets on the pool side of the men's changing room and entrance to the shower are have not had any power in them. The provision of new hair driers was appreciated but because of the non-functional sockets only one of them can be used at a a time.
Like group exercise and variety available
I use workout equipment weight workout the Y is well run well managed always clean it is a great place been member for a long time
I’d love a little more space for stretching.
Classes for seniors are excellent. I hate when I have to miss one. I've brought in two friends who agree with me. Thank you for providing this enrichment.

I love the Cowart Y. You're close to where I live and the membership fee is reasonable. Group fitness classes are good though more evening strength/cross training classes needed for my schedule. I find the instructors really super. The lifestyle center (big room with machines, treadmills etc.) is good and has everything I need. Wish you would enforce (kindly but firmly) the rule - I think it's a rule - about no cell phone use in the life style center. Some people don't seem to care. This will take more than another sign on the wall. People should clean off mats and equipment when they're done too. The bike room is really great - the bikes are of good quality and having them in permanent spots is a real improvement over the previous arrangement with bikes along the walls. Bike room isn't really big enough to do Y-fit classes comfortably though.
