The cleanliness is a plus!
The facility is kept clean, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is well maintained.
I used to do water aerobics but switched to lap swimming. The lifeguards and other swimmers are friendly and it's an enjoyable experience.
The Cowart Family YMCA is a super group of people. Everyone there from executives to cleaners works hard to keep us safe and healthy. Everyone gets a friendly verbal greeting upon arrival. There is always someone to answer questions or address issues if any arise.
The class schedules are geared for seniors and based on the times we prefer.
The coaches are the stars. Every one of them is really devoted to her job and wants us to enjoy the class and leave healthier. They always take the time to listen to our health issues.
Most of all, before the pandemic, this YMCA had become an informal community center, especially for us seniors. Some of us who stayed away during the pandemic are slowly returning. I am sure that we will be planning our days around the Y and the community it has become.

Classes are super engaging and fun to follow. I always feel so welcomed when I show up plus I appreciate the amount of classes offered in the early morning. Every week a different routine is offered so classes never feel repetitive.
We love hanging out at the Y. My baby boy enjoys after school activities at the Y and I enjoy using the facility.

Variety of exercise classes. My husband loves playing pickle ball there too. Although, it would be nice if they could have the whole gym when playing. It is a very popular activity. Always plenty of cardio machines available and my daughter loves playing he track.
I love the classes ! There are a variety of classes provided at different times of the day that are so convenient. The instructors are energetic, helpful and very accommodating to all skill levels. Very happy that I found this place and to have recently joined ! Thank you YMCA Family
While I only use your pool, I always find the facility clean and the staff friendly.

I went to the beginners pickel ball on Tuesday. One court didn't seem to be beginners but the other count did.

I love Cowart Y. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The instructors are all excellent. There is a great selection of equipment. And I love the mission of the Y and how it’s helping support the community.
