Excellent community. Home away from home
There are a lot of great classes. Would like more dance like classes, and more afternoon classes. It also be nice if they were open longer on Sunday afternoon, and Saturdays.
Pickle ball and all the classes offered. Nice inside pool
Excellent physical facility and staff. Highly recommend.
Luckily I got the one and only Peloton bike that was working!
Friendly staff, always welcoming!
Pickleball is the main draw for me. I would really like to see more programs for this. You had some pros come and do instruction, drills, etc a while back and wish you would do more of that. Also, if there is no one playing basketball we should be allowed to put up the other nets.
Coach approach, walking track, pickleball for beginners, senior friendly
All programs seems to be good , Facility is neat , with good vibe , spacious and all neccessary amenities
So much to do, so little time. There is something for everyone at the YMCA no matter your age or your athletic ability. It is a lovely community of people from all walks of life that I look forward to being a part of for years to come.
Nice variety friendly people
good for health, all at one place
I do not participate in tge programs and activities at the Y anymore. When my children were younger, I had them involved in the soccer league and other activities that the Y would host. I think the Y provides a great service for the community.
I like the bond I’ve met with so many people. The only disappointment is the water aerobics class is so limited to times and capacity of class. If you don’t sign up right away it fills up. That shows how many people want to participate and not enough classes to support them.
Group activities for seniors are appreciated by me and my wife, including tai-chi and AOAS and even Y Burn, which can easily be modified.
Love the y, the people and the cleanliness. Not thrilled with the new games on the treadmill. Solitary is glitch and multiple times is missing the two of diamonds. You stepped back in time with this one.
They are inclusive, people are friendly, the programs keep me in good shape and I feel comfortable at the Y.
Fit my needs. Enjoy the teachers
I love playing pickleball with a fun group of encouraging people and I enjoy the variety of classes & great instructors.
I have been a YMCA member starting in 2009. I was at the Ashford-Dunwoody Y but changed to the Isakson Y when I moved to Alpharetta. I have a workout routine that I put together in 2017 with a trainer. Since then I have modified it several ways. My routine alternates cardio days with resistance days. It takes me 1.5 hours to complete. On Fridays I attend yoga at the Preston Ridge Adult Center next to the Y. I believe that the Y plays a major role in my health.
Every instructor that I’ve had has been professional, knowledgeable, and friendly
I like that most of the classes are only 45 minutes long as opposed to one hour
Zoey gave me a wonderful tour of the facility. Very pleasant and generous with her time.
Excellent facility
Variety and community
Friendly, many exercise options.
There’s always something for everyone, regardless your experience. B
