As a former elementary school teacher with 19 years’ classroom experience, I knew my daughter was falling behind in math, but as her mother, she wanted no part of my support. When we turned to Mathnasium for help, they were able to show us the gaps that I sensed she had, right there in the assessment. We got started right away.

We are now a month into the program and my daughter’s self confidence in math has already grown tremendously. She is learning and showing progress, not just in her mathematical confidence, but also in her mathematical abilities and the all important vocabulary.

We had a great experience with Mathnasium. Scheduling is made very easy and flexible. The tutoring has helped with math skills, grades and consequently self confidence. The owners are very caring. I just wish it would be a little quieter in the room. My son thought it can be difficult to concentrate and focus sometimes. We could suggest to whisper so it would feel more like in a library. But overall it was fantastic and I totally recommend it!

Excellent customer service for parents but, most important, my daughter thoroughly enjoys the program. It’s building her confidence tremendously, she has a 97 in math, and her scores on benchmark exams are increasing since she began.

My son got behind in his Advanced Algebra course due to being out for a prolonged illness. As it became clear that he was missing foundational knowledge necessary for continued success, we reached out to Mathnasium for help.

I was impressed with their assessment and game plan from the start, but that I expected. What completely shocked me was their ability to get a 14 year old excited about doing an additional 75 minutes worth of math, three days a week! How is that even possible!?!

Well, it is and they did. Though initially not excited, he had embraced it because of the outcomes. Though his grade did slip in the third quarter, he is committed to scoring high enough in his Algebra class this quarter to preserve his 4.0 cumulative GPA for Middle School.

For the first time my daughter is talking about math at the dinner table! She is excited to tell us about what tricks she has learned and new ways of understanding numbers that finally makes sense to her. She is homeschooled so it's really good for her to have other adults to interact with online and in the center. The whole Mathnasium team has been super supportive and encouraging. They are always full of energy and ready to help! I truly feel our money is well spent.

This has been so good for my daughters confidence and understanding of her algebra. She has come up 15 points in one mnths

My daughter was struggling with math concepts from her class in school and was not receiving the instruction she needed. Having had previous positive experiences with Mathnasium with other children, we chose to send her there for 6 weeks to finish the school year and prepare for exams. Since then she has scored in the 90% or higher on her math assessments in class and for the first time this year genuinely seems confident in her subject knowledge. This is in stark contrast to the frustration of the past few months. We are very happy with the program Mathnasium implements for our daughter’s learning.

I have only been with Mathnasium for a few weeks but I have been greatly impressed with the changes in my son, both with his grades and confidence! I was not able to help him much on my own and I was glad I had someone to turn to. It's expensive though, and we're lucky that we're able to handle the expense.

The Mathnasium atmosphere creates an excellent, positive, environment for learning- for even the most unenthusiastic student. While 8th grade, high school level, math courses are challenging, the tutors have connected with our son on a level that allows him to ask the questions he may not have been comfortable asking in class.
